Morning!
More yard/housework for us today. We’re having a ‘cool front’ (highs only in the 80s 😂😂) so not a bad time to be outside.
Tonight I’m meeting up for dinner/shopping with two of my best friends from college. Haven’t seen them since our trip to Nashville last fall; I’m glad to be living close by again.

Morning! Nothing exciting here. I told Evie we needed to go buy her new tennis shoes this weekend and she rolled her eyes, so I guess I'll save my money. She wants to go stay with MIL tonight, but I feel like I need to get her on a schedule since school starts Wednesday. So that is TBD.
She did get her teacher assignment yesterday afternoon and her boyfriend/my moms neighbor, is in her class. She was so excited!

Morning. My allergies are worse today than they were yesterday, I am so not impressed. DH is at a golf tournament for Huntington’s with some of his friends this morning. I can’t wait for him to get home so I can take a nap. I think we are going to get H stuff for soccer later today, her first practice is on Monday evening.

Out big excursion is going to the Children's Museum today. I thought it was still closed but I found out you have to reserve time blocks.
Yesterday evening Cass was begging for a romance so we watched Holiday in the Wild--my favorite Christmas one. It's so good.

Hi ladies. I didn’t sleep well, I’m getting more exhausted by the minute and am nowhere near the finish line, so I need to find me some energy! Had a hairdressers appointment and we went apple/blackberry picking.

Already washed the dog since she found a nice pile of shit to roll in. She's in her crate now thinking about what she's done.

Oh man inthekitty, LT for support. It's apparently the day for gross-ness. DH had to unclog the kids' toilet after the neighbor kid clogged it. B came in to report it to me first and I was like, "Find your father."

T’s friends finally made it to the beach on the 4th try. We had the best day. One has a sister a year older than DD so she was happy to have someone to swim with. They arrived around 9:30, played all day on the beach, then we showered and had dinner and went back up to the beach for a live band and cocktail/dessert hour. We decided with school going virtual, we will have a set weekly play date for them. The feeling of hopelessness I had the is finally gone and I’m looking forward to enjoying a nice week at the beach and I will be leaving the stress of next month to next month for now.

Hi. It’s been a crazy day. I have a coworker/friend with her kids coming by tomorrow. I’m trying to decide to do a quiet park by the house or just at our house.
So homework for me, house cleaning, laundry and trying to start potty training E.

The problem is a lot of the ones we use to enjoy going to have homeless camps in them.

I’d go stir crazy if our 200square ft of garden was the only place the kids could blow of some steam in!

I had planned to take it easy today which apparently to me means, picking out pain for the nursery, going to the drugstore for multivitamines for the kids, the grocery store, painting a wall, putting the crib together, baking cookies & a banana bread and making a curry. I’ll never learn 🤦🏼♀️.

Hiiiii! We had some friends over yesterday for a socially distant cookout. They have 2 boys - one Chase's age and a 17 month old - so the kids had a blast. We sat on the deck having drinks and watching the kids, it felt nice and almost normal. They also left us homemade sourdough. I did not do the bread baking thing with the lockdown but as a carb-fiend, I was super excited.
We're trying to make as many outside plans with family for the next few weekends, before the weather turns and cold and flu season kicks in. I really don't know what we're going to do then.
Colin has golf today and I have a little work to check-in on, but nothing major.

Oh and tomorrow is Chase's first day back in daycare!! I'm a bit nervous since he's never been there but he's excited and so far I've felt very confident in their operations.

Morning!
My girlfriends and I had a good time last night; we browsed Ulta and NordstromRack for awhile and then went to dinner at a new-ish Italian place. Very cool interior and the food and cocktails were great, we will definitely be back.
DH just left for the grocery store and he’s taking the kids to the pool later so I can start painting B’s room.

I don't think you were around when I was discussing it - but we switched day cares too. B has been thriving in his new one, he's been back since July 1. I hope you have the same experience!

I think we'll just bum around today. Hang out around the house. Maybe make cookies. Do a little grocery shopping. We're going hiking again tomorrow so I need to buy hiking lunches for the girls. They are food motivated.

Nothing on the agenda today. Cadence and I went for a walk this morning and she's about to go with mh to FIL's house for a little bit. I have a package of brownie brittle to make, so maybe we'll do that this afternoon. Yesterday we made blueberry muffins.

Hey. V is 2 months old today 😱. DH just took the big girls to his friends house because they are moving away next weekend. Since they’re gone I’m going to work on picking up/cleaning/laundry to get a jump on the week.

flamingo what are you doing with B’s room? Ps I could use a good cocktail right about now... The walls of his room were kind of a baby-blue...it felt very ‘nursery’. He still wanted blue so we’re going with a more medium shade. I don’t know that we really have a ‘theme’ but I think we’ll end up doing some coastal/nautical artwork? His new bedding is blue/white stripes so it’s pretty versatile!
