Has anyone else seen this? Some man has done multiple Facebook lives claiming he knows who really killed this Samantha Burns. This Reddit thread has compiled all his videos and claims. He says his wife killed her and she's buried in their backyard. Even weirder the people commenting think that the wife is also commenting on the Reddit thread defending herself as a random stranger. Anyway it's strange and crazy and the kind of shit we could fall into hard. I saw a little of this, as it's been all over the My Favorite Murder FB group. I haven't had time to dive into it much, but I did start to look into who Samantha Burns is (was) and what happened to her. So sad  I also read Hysell's wife's FB post asking the Burns family to come to her house so she can talk to them about what really happened. She said she doesn't have their contact info, so she's asked people to share the post so it can get to them. Like, WTAF?? |

A very brief Teal Deer: Samantha Burns was a 19 year old and who went missing. They found her car, but they didn't ever find a body. Two inmates who escaped around that time and went on a crime spree and were accused of abducting her. Evidence was circumstantial but one did confess to it.
There were no clear answers in this case and now this. Very strange.

I've just read more about it and one of the alleged killers worked with the FBI quite a bit to find her, and even he is stumped? Every angle on this thing is weird. |

Someone made a character map of the Samantha Burns/FB video drama & posted it on the MFM FB group. I found it helpful. Reddit is too much for me to handle. 
Edit because right after I added the photo, the poster edited it herself.

Not just police, but the FBI are there too, which means either they had to have found the whole thing slightly possible, or all of the public pressure of the husband going to FB and social media, pressured the FBI to step in. |

The Reddit user that they were speculating is Rebecca is still at it on there. I feel like that user might be one of the weirder things about the case.
