flamingo remind me which workbench you had for B? Anybody else have one they love? X had been walking around with his set of plastic Black and Decker tools doing his “important work.” I think he’d love one. The Melissa and Doug wooden one is cited, but $$$$$. We had this Black and Decker one. My nephew has it now and loves it, too.

We hiked at Mt. Rainier yesterday and it was beautiful. I couldn't believe the girls actually got around quickly in the morning. It was hard to get them started on the hike (the elevation change was killer and it took me a bit to acclimate so I could breathe) but they quickly changed their attitudes and were loving the views. My friend had a great idea of having them tell a story and they went to town with it.

Today I took the day off and I'm taking them to a state park about an hour away with a cool playground.

Forty minutes into ZOOM, Dude said he is getting distracted because his shirt feels scratchy and he wants to move around. Looks like I will need to figure out where I put his wiggle seat.
They just took a five minute break, and he asked me if Sedna’s status will be changed from a planetoid to a dwarf planet, how tall will he be next year, and whether the horse we met the other day liked him.
I don’t think that his scratchy shirt was the only thing distracting him...

I’m at work. It’s not a bad day and I’m glad because I’m finding it hard to focus when I have fifty level things swirling around in my head. This morning I thought about the fact that M2 has speech today, so I’ll be leaving here to take him to that. It would be lovely if I didn’t have to come back to the hospital later tonight, but hopefully the last night if he gets discharged tomorrow. 🤞🏽

Watched Vivarium on Prime. Not worth it. Boring. Never explains anything even though it had so much promise. Watching World's Toughest Race and it's fun. Cass' go to movie right now is The Princess Switch--the Christmas one on Netflix. She's obsessed and wanted a romance to watch so I suggested that ane it's all she wants to watch now. Zombies 2 is finally on Disney+ and they were thrilled to watch it on the way home yesterday. wedding because if I remember right C liked the first one.

Apparently they are doing 8-2, with a couple five minute breaks, a morning recess, and a lunch. This is crazy to me. Evie sits around and watches her tablet a lot during the day while I'm working, but there is no way she could focus on it for 6 hours, with a few breaks here and there. Plus working, I wouldn't be able to pay attention to her to make sure she was actually doing what she was supposed to be.

I have 2 extra kids today and its raining so we can't get outside. They've been bringing loads of water pretty steady all day so it'll be full tonight. To bad the rain is cooling off the water. I just fed everybody lunch. Idk how the boys survives, he barely eats anything. I need to warm up some lunch for myself now. Then get them to clean up some toys.

My infusion therapy was denied by my insurance because they want updated clinicals from my doctor, whom I saw in late March and see again next week. We only have visits every six months, but a pandemic with an airborne virus seems like a great time to refuse to give antibodies and send people out for extra office visits and labs, right?

A 5min break us nothing for a kid!

I couldn't attend that long if I had to listen to lectures all day. It's really something that after the trial run in the spring some of these schools still haven't figured out what will absolutely set their students up for failure. I'm so sorry about the infusion. Thats so effed up.

Yup supposedly we will be 8:35 - 3:00 (regular school hours) with long mid day break and a few 15 minute breaks mixed in.

Hello. The kids haven’t seen their cousins in over a week and have been begging to see them, so my niece and nephew are coming over In a bit for a sleepover. I’m making N and H have some separate quiet time before them, and hopefully H will nap a bit. I need to get our camper ready for the weekend. We haven’t used it since the beginning of June, but we’re going for a long weekend with some friends starting Thursday.

Hey. The girls and I picked up and reorganized the toys in the basement so that there’s room to get the tent set up this evening. Indoor camping is my kind of camping. V is falling into a schedule, which is good for me. I’ve been trying to lay her down drowsy but awake so hopefully she’s a better sleeper than the other 2. 3rd times the charm, right? Nothing else really planned for the day except probably playing outside after quiet time. lfig I hope S has a smooth easy recovery and this device does the trick.
