Morning!
Out for a walk before the rat race starts. It’s our first official day of virtual learning for first grade. Then X has speech this afternoon.
Dude’s kindergarten teacher did not return, so I need to email her to ask what she wants us to do with their “class pet” (a tank full of pond snails).

Morning! Working from home this morning. It is still a challenge to manage getting in my hours and watching the kids and trying to come up for air every once in a while. But I know I’m one of the lucky ones with a very understanding supervisor, a husband who is home relatively early and normally a lot of help from my parents. Dd had her first day at school back at today and had a blast. They each could chose a meal on their first day back at school and she chose roast chicken, fries and a salade with olives.

Morning! Ballet for C, endeavoring to keep the sod alive 🤪, and a grocery run are in the agenda today. A friend of ours from VA just moved here and had a baby so I’m taking dinner and a little gift to them tmrw...but for the life of me I cannot figure out what to make. So I need to get out my recipe files and hope inspiration strikes. lahdeedah hope your H had a restful night. lfig thinking of you guys, let us know how S is doing when you get a chance. |

lfig I hope S does great today and her procedure is over super fast! lahdeedah I hope your H is feeling better today and gets released. Nothing exciting planned here today. I need to pick up some groceries. I'm not used to H being home all the time, so the half gallon of milk I used to buy for him, doesn't last long and he's out already. E is going to play at my moms later in the morning so I can get some quiet time.

[mention]flamingo [/mention] I made my sister a huge lasagna, she could freeze a part for later and eat it that same night. I put it in a tin foil tray so that she didn’t have to go trough the hassle of returning a tray.

Hello everyone. Not much for me, wfh usual. I went for a jog early this morning. I’ve also got the cleaners here which is great since we’ve had so many ppl living in this house for the past week.
Then tmrw we leave for our mini beach trip.

Morning.
Just talked to the surgeon and things are looking up. NG tube should come out soon. If he does ok all today, the drain may come out this evening and possible discharge tomorrow if everything goes well. We’re turning a corner. 🎉

lahdeedah glad your H turned the corner and is doing better! flamingo I made Chicken Enchiladas and breakfast burritos for my neighbors when her dad passed. They said the burritos were perfect to grab when people were leaving in the mornings and no one else had brought any breakfast kind of dishes.

flamingo remind me which workbench you had for B? Anybody else have one they love? X had been walking around with his set of plastic Black and Decker tools doing his “important work.” I think he’d love one. The Melissa and Doug wooden one is cute, but $$$$$.
