I think I need to cancel fb. Yesterday apparently the world just learned that LOL dolls change when you put them in cold water. I mean, it’s part of the whole schtik they have. It shows in the catalogue and is one of H’s favorite things to do as soon as she opens them. I don’t know who thought LOL dolls were a wholesome toy in the first place. Now I’m breaking my own rule and netbattling with someone about covid. These conspiracy theories are killing me. I saw the LOL thing. I threw in that the boys have penises. Hahaha, I'm sure they were clutching their pearls. My friend discovered that like 6 months ago and was so scandalized about it. I seriously could not fake a care about that. |

M was hounding me about when I'll get her a phone. I made her a deal that I'll let her have a phone when I got one. Her eyes lit up and she asked how old I was. I replied, "18." She looked shocked and tried to bargain to go down a few years.  H has been asking for one too, so obnoxious. You’re 6 and don’t go anywhere without adults! |

I just saw a commercial for “love in the time of corona” put on by freeform and Hulu. I guess they wanted to beat hallmark to it, ha.

All the days I have spotted a random pizza coupon sheet in my house, and I cannot find one today to have a pizza picture for M2’s poster. I did a massive paper recycle haul a couple weekends ago, so I guess they all got dumped there. Guess I’ll get M to draw him one. 🤷🏽♀️

WFH today. It's been crazy at work after a short lull in which I got caught up for the first time in 2 years. I asked my boss if there's any chance of hiring someone else since we've been consistently busy. I put the message on our team chat and one of my coworkers responded right away that a previous team member would love to come back. This woman was nuts--totally personality disordered, very flaky, and unreliable. She has a pattern of never staying anywhere for long and has zig-zagged across the country with all of her moves (and like 9 Rottweilers with her) even though she's pushing 70. She called in sick on a day she had several evaluations scheduled so she could go to a dog show. I'd rather have no help than have her. My boss said we don't have money in the budget to hire. Did she also call out when one of the dogs was having a litter? I remember the dog show but know someone had the litter thing happen. |

I figure by then he would at least have a phone that calls and texts only to let us know where he’s at. Lol. In reality I figure it will be 11 or 12--sometime in middle school. I just don't want to give them an answer yet because if we get to that age and I want to delay it I don't want them saying "you promised!!!" That's when they'll likely become semi-latchkey kids and me dropping them off places on their own. I will also probably start with a phone that does nothing but text and calls. M walked into a pole a couple of weeks ago when she was looking at her tablet and ended up with a huge goose egg.  With great power, comes great responsibility. Yeah, she's not there. |

The past two days of work have been nuts. I was in a nice place of near boredom for a couple of weeks and now I’m swamped. Happens every year at this time but for some reason I didn’t see it coming. Probably because I hardly know what month it is. Me and my work friends were supposed to get together today at one of their pools and “work” from there but two of us were swamped so we cancelled. I likely would have made up an excuse anyway since one of my friends, who I thought was pretty smart about Covid, flew to a state with high numbers last week and hasn’t quarantined or tested after returning per the state mandate. With all of the stuff coming out about long term effects I am actually scared to get it now. I can’t imagine being diagnosed with a heart condition and it being tied back to my getting Covid because I just had to go to this gathering. We plan to reschedule in a couple of weeks so that’s something to look forward to. Otherwise saw old stay at home life. kim22 that stinks that you have to wear both. Everyone has to wear a mask at our schools but the Dept of Health didn’t think there was much added benefit to also wear the face shield. I would not want that foam cushion on my forehead all day. Hopefully it won’t be as hot as you think. |

I guess I just didn't view it as "lingerie". Cadence has always called them swimsuits and to be honest, I just didn't pay enough attention to care. She enjoys the toys and I'm fine with them. I guess when she's older I'll remind her of the time when she was 6 and I was the "cool" mom for letting her have stripper dolls. LOL
I would like to say that the women's reactions in some of the videos I've seen are hilarious. They're acting like they are filled with arsenic or some shit. Get over it lady.
