Drinking wine and soaking my feet. I did 2.2 miles in the humid heat and sun with the double stroller at the arboretum. I like the idea of trying to do my mini pedicures on Tuesday and Thursday. Toes on T&T! Maybe I'll remember that way. Of course I'm sure to be exhausted one night and soaking them will seem like an insurmountable task.
I scored a couple kid books I wanted on Prime Day. Those were the only things I was interested in. #parenting

Hey guys, I am so sorry for being absent! Hope you're all doing well. L has decided to boycott sleep and work is cray cray, so I'm just trying to hold it together over here Missed you! *whispers* I'll need someone to talk about GoT with soon! I can't wait for GoT! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So yea I haven't done any sippy cups yet.
The nanny tells me today E was fussy and yelled out dada that was the first time she had done that. I tried to get her to say it but nope just lots of babbling. H comes home and she said it twice to him. Clearly. I don't know if that's first word yet. We will see if it's a pattern.

peaseblossom55 omg as Lakes said J17 babies need to SLOW DOWN!! But it is exciting. ** Is this where I admit I say "mama" a lot and really slowly in the hopes that Q will pick up on it. I selfishly want him to say mama before daddy.

We've had this same conversation. Except my kid loves both still. But the high chair needs to come down soon. The swing was my first on the "up to the attic" list. Til she took a nap in it the other day 😩 dd rolls right off the playmat and is more interested in her brother's toys. She discovered the activity cube yesterday and it was amazing. I really only use the bouncer if she's chilling in the kitchen with me but she's not a huge fan anymore and would prefer to roll around the dining room. You know, we got DD1 an activity cube for her 1st birthday. We were SOOOO excited. And she basically never used it. And now, she only tinkers with it to stall bedtime. I think we will re-gift it to A!!!

DD1s first word was "cat" and her first two syllable work was "tinkoo" for "thank-you." Dada came way before mama.

Confession: I don't know DS's first word. The shift from babbling that sounded like words to words that were intentional and carried meaning was so subtle that I could never point to a specific one.

Since ds and the dog are such buddies we just go with that. It avoids the mana or dada fight 😂

DDs first word (besides mama and dada) was "hi". But she always said it with my drawn out inflection. Haaaaiiiii. It was adorable.
Dada came first. I'm secretly hoping B will say mama first this time around...
