wineallthetime It's 5 o'clock somewhere, drink up! trtlcrzy that's awful, I'm glad the family is safe, but what a terrible loss to go through. I can't imagine. Well, I think my mom just helped me decide about going to the lake this weekend. She always rents a big house, big enough for the entire family. Occasionally, one of my step brothers joins us, and he is a PITA. He is the most immature 26 year old I have ever met. He doesn't like to be in the sun, so why he goes to the lake, I don't get. She told me he's coming down. My mom has this house starting Friday, for a week and a half. My brother and his family, and I was thinking us, were coming down this Friday and all leaving Monday or Tuesday. The house would just have my mom and step dad for another week. Step brother is choosing to come at the same time. Like, why? I told my mom when H finds out he will be there, he will definitely say he isn't coming. SB always causes a scene about not wanting to go on the boat, step dad feels like he has to stay behind with SB, so there is no one to drive their pontoon and my brothers boat won't hold all of us. It ends up causing some very awkward conversations and I told my mom that. I told her if SB comes at the same time, we most likely won't come. I'm very disappointed and annoyed. He doesn't like boats or the sun but is going to a lake house? He's a smart cookie. |

I went and got my grocery order this morning and we just finished up lunch. I have 2 loads of laundry to finish and need to put away all the non perishables. And make a list for party food. I'm looking forward to her birthday party but wish I invited less people. I really thought most would say no..

My SIL is a complainer. I hate going to restaurants with her because its flat out embarrassing how she treats the waiters. I've always said that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat wait staff. |

My SIL is a complainer. I hate going to restaurants with her because its flat out embarrassing how she treats the waiters. I had a friend like that, I hated it. She also called my first pregnancy my ‘situation’. We’re not friends anymore. |

My SIL, who I love to pieces, makes up the most confusing and crazy personalized orders. She is always nice to the waitstaff but it is embarrassing bc her convoluted order will inevitably be messed up and then we all sit there looking bad for the server. |

@yummeecookie I always feel like that when I’m pregnant and ordering food with my friend that doesn’t eat meat, but will eats fish. ‘Yes we’d like to order an antipasti platter, without any meat, if there’s fish no tuna or smoked fish, are the cheeses made with raw milk, oh and no blue cheeses?’ That is followed by request for virgin cocktails and decaf lattes 😂. But hey, we’re friendly and tip accordingly 😜!

trtlcrzy , how awful. I'm glad they're all safe, but that would be so traumatizing to go through. mwhip ugh. That's frustrating. People like that can really ruin what's supposed to be a good time. I told you guys about what a douche my little brother was last year when I paid his way to WDW. He was insufferable. I thought he'd worked through his immaturity--I thought wrong. Back to reality here. Thankfully got most of the unpacking done--always my most hated part of vacationing. Last night I asked Cass if she wanted to watch a romantic comedy (of course she did) and introduced her to Sandra Bullock. We watched While You Were Sleeping and she could hardly contain herself from asking "are they going to kiss," "is someone going to get married at the end." Girl is a romantic.

I've got Indian Matchmaking on while I'm working and I absolutely love it. My ex BFF, that ghosted me  , is Indian and I loved their whole family so, so much. It is making me miss her so much. She even had an arranged marriage so I am not even scandalized by any of this, I feel like I am reliving her match. |

Ugh people are pretending nothing is wrong, are to relaxed with regards to the rules and numbers are starting to creep back up again, as in almost doubled from last week. I got to me today. I want to get our **** together before everything goes back in to a lockdown again, so I’ve made list with regards to what needs to be done before the baby comes & I’ve started making lists with ideas for presents that will need for the rest of the year (birthdays, Sinterklaas, Christmas etc). I need to figure out what treats Dd/ds will hand out at school for the when the baby is born and for ds’ birthday (if schools are even open at that point). In three weeks time both Dh and I will have to set foot in big middle/high school (1000/1800 students) and I’m scared. I’m rambling and I’m sure the hormones are not helping, but men this was not what I was expecting to be worried about during this pregnancy. TL; DR; stressed out lady  . |

Back to reality here. Thankfully got most of the unpacking done--always my most hated part of vacationing. Last night I asked Cass if she wanted to watch a romantic comedy (of course she did) and introduced her to Sandra Bullock. We watched While You Were Sleeping and she could hardly contain herself from asking "are they going to kiss," "is someone going to get married at the end." Girl is a romantic. I look forward to the time we can enjoy movies as a family (ones that aren’t kid movies). Nothing Hill... About time... Harry Potter of course (I’m a purist, books first, so we’ll have to wait a few more years). I made them listen to me read the first HP before I let them watch the movie. They've liked pretty much every non-kids movies we've watched together. I like animated movies, but it's nice to watch soemthing else now and then too. |

Thanks for the birthday wishes ladies! I woke up to a crappy text from my brother. Apparently he's been giving me the silent treatment since I told him in March we couldn't go to his wedding in May I Europe because our jobs placed travel restrictions. I thought I was doing the right thing by letting them now as soon as we found out in case they were looking for a head count for decisions. Ultimately it was cancelled by the govt restrictions. But I guess I was the only family member not ride or die for the wedding. He's my only sibling so it meant a big gap on his side. Again, within a week the wedding wasn't happening. But I'm coming to terms with this being a way for him to deal with emotions in the least hurtful way. Also I've had a small migraine.
But MH took E to swim lessons so I get a few minutes alone.

Does anyone have good headphones for kids with a microphone? I'm thinking it might help with focus during e-learning. Mh has some big gaming headphones but I'd like child size

I also have Indian friends who had an arranged marriage and they're the cutest ever. So crazy to hear about the beginning of their marriage. She'd been living in India and he was in the US and I guess the first few months she just stayed in the guest bedroom all day/night terrified. Now they're the most amazing couple. |

Evie greeted H at the door when he got home and talked him into switching her appointment because she wants to go swimming with her cousins.
So I guess I'll see if they can still do her shot next Thursday.
