Oh no jewels , I hope it was just a one time thing and he feels better soon. I hope your cleaning people are done soon so you can go back in and get comfortable. klong11 Your bosses need to figure out organization. sounds like someone would be duplicating efforts and your're just wasting your time! Sadly the only one putting in effort is me. I'm doing all the physical labor involved with very little to no help. And then Smokey was all, "with all that physical labor you're doing, you would think you would lose some weight". 😐 What a whore. |

I need to do laundry and pack the big girls bags because they are staying at the IL’s for the weekend. DH is going on a guys trip so it’ll just be me and the babe. It’s going to be great. In sad news I think V is outgrowing the nb clothes. I don’t want her to grow up 😭

Hi girls. Dh took the kids out to play some baseball, so I could finish my book. We went cycling in the afternoon & got some ice cream. I got a soft serve with caramel and nuts, the best. Kids are of to bed in a bit, looking forward to a quiet evening  . |

I am surprised that yh’s company is not taking the situation more seriously mwhip! Really shocking. Glad your employer is letting you stay home tho. And OMG to that bia Smokey klong11. Sorry for the tiff w yh tgrimes. I mean duh,, H cant go to school like that and you had already planned to be home dude, that’s the way it is........ Hope the pukes were a one-off for S jewels. |

It's going to be a gorgeous weekend so I just decided on a whim that we're going camping to the summer lot. My Mom is coming to get B within the next couple hours and J and I will head out tomorrow morning until Sunday afternoon.

AFM, working for now. Thinking about going to have dinner somewhere w an outdoor patio since we have my SIL here visiting.
Maybe this should be in the school thread, mh and I are tossing around the idea of moving B to private school. The one affiliated w our church has said they will open for in person classes. They are able to maintain distancing and small class sizes utilizing the various church buildings and such. My hang up is that nothing guarantees that they don’t switch to virtual later in the school year, say if cases go up or flu season goes cray, then I am back in the same situation AND paying private school tuition on top of it. So IDK.

One of my friends directed me to the Dept of Labor website where it discusses the FFRCA to reimburse employers, but it's for employers with 500 or less employees. I'm 99% positive H's company is well over that. They're nationwide, but just the KC facility is probably more than that. I sent him the screenshot about it and told him it's worth asking about.
In other news, I tried out my local grocery stores online order and pick up. So far, I'm very impressed, although I haven't gone through my stuff. But I placed my order just before 11 and selected a 1-2pm pick up slot. Got in the shower, while I was in there, I got a text about confirming a replacement item, at 11:36, I got an email and text that my order was already available for pick up.

Any of you girls have cute name ideas for us? We’re usually drawn to one/two syllable names (dd’s name is two syllables in Dutch). I love the name Emmi/Emme, but it’s to similar to my SIL name (because of course). I also love the name Gus, but the pronunciation wouldn’t be right in Dutch, we might use it as a middle name.
Eta I added those name to give some direction. I also love Josephine, Dh hard vetoed that one.

Happy Friday! Apparently the salesman wasn’t using sales tactics on me last night, haha. the guy who drove it after me bought it. Boo. I’m taking it as a sign that i need to look at the atlas now.
I tried taking the kids on a bike ride but H was whining about being tired about 3 minutes in so we turned around and I made him have quiet time. He’s just been so whiny and i couldn’t handle it anymore.
We’re going to a friends for dinner (wives and kids of the guys golfing all weekend). I’m much more in the mood to have a movie night at home, but I’m sure we won’t be out late and I will have me time after the kids are in bed.

I don't know how any of these would work in dutch but: Molly Lilly Elle or Ella Nora Leah Anna/Anne Claire Sara Ben Owen Luke Noah Leo Jacob/Jake James I love some of these, unfortunately some have been taken by family/close friends  . My grandma used to call me ‘saartje’, a nickname for Sara, which has absolutely nothing to do with my real name 😂. I love molly, it feels old school modern (if that makes any sense at all), but I’m not sure it’ll work in Dutch ☹️. ETA I somehow quoted, it was ment as a reaction to [mention]tgrimes [/mention]too. |

I think Sara would be sweet then - since it has meaning but isn't actually your name. I also think if you love a name, it shouldn't matter if a friend has it. I mean I wouldn't choose my niece or nephew's name or my BFF's kid but otherwise I dunno if I would care. Oh what about Mara or Nara? I hadn't hear the name Nara before and S had a friend with that name and she was such a sweet girl I like it now |

I remember a long time ago on GD that people used to talk about death buddies. Should we have that here? I know most people here talk to others off board but some (like me) generally do not. Maybe we should pair up and if someone hasn't been on in a while that person reaches out?
I feel like we've had a lot of people sort of fading away these past few months with crazy lives and everything. I wouldn't want anyone to have something serious happen and we didn't know.
Anyway, just a thought. Carry on.

Oh my gosh guys, my coworker let me know they had a meeting today and we're going back to telework in August! I'm so thrilled. I don't think it's permanent but I'll take it for now.
It's much needed as our installation apparently has twice the Rona rate as the rest of the state.
