Morning. The girls and I watched the first Harry Potter. S is the worst person to watch a movie with if you’re trying to pay attention, she talks and asks questions the whole time. I’m going to get everyone ready soon and head out to sbux to get coffee. peachsmama I’m sorry. Will your dad retire or go work for someone else? nam2013 a gnome walk? How adorable! Seafoam candy is so good. It tastes like honeycomb covered in chocolate. It's a crunchy texture that melts in your mouth. Morning.
Yesterday I didnt get outside with the kids much and they were 'bored' to play outside by themselves, so we just came back from a good long walk and now they're settled playing LEGO and dolls. I should be able to get some good work time in until lunchtime.
I cannot describe the amount of annoyance that I feel when I hear 'I'm bored'....

Morning. Evie went to my moms Tuesday and when I picked her up, my mom told me I needed to bring more toys over because Evie was bored. I think part of it was her disappointment in not playing with the neighbor boy she has a crush on, but yeah, we get the 'I'm boooorrreed' here too and it's annoying. She has 2 rooms full of toys, go play with something! |

trying to order my birth certificate. It requires a notary, so I'm trying to connect via the website and it's taking freaking forever. I'm getting annoyed. And it says it will take 9-12 weeks to get it. As I was typing that she popped on and it was super quick and easy. No more bitching from me.  Although now I have to wait forever to get my license renewed. Such a pain. |

Thankfully I don't get "I'm bored" much here, but I get so annoyed with the instant grumbling and complaints when I say we're leaving the house. They're home all the time now so you'd think they'd enjoy it but they bitch and complain so much if we say we're going out to eat/whatever. (This was pre-covid too, so didnt make a difference if it were at an actual restuarant or getting takeout and eating at the park.) They just want to play video games all day. I guess they're built for quarantine.
Roblox is a blessing and a curse. Gives me a break from them, but they never want a break from it.

C wants to get a toy stage and people for it playing the guitar and singing. Like rockstar Barbie but not so girly. Anyone have ideas? I’ve tried to search but can’t even find the right words to search.
Anyone bored and want to look?
I will basically buy him anything right now to get off the wrestling kick he was/is on. The last thing he needs it simulated fights given his behavior at camp.

I’ll join the club with the kids not wanting to go any where ‘unless it’s the zoo!’, ehm no we’re not going to the zoo every day. I’ll say that 99% of the time the moment we’re on the bike, they’re happy as clams again.
Since it’s vacation they’re allowed a little more tv than normal and they kept asking for it and it drove us insane, so new rule, no complaining about activities or asking about tv or no tv for the day.

Ugh I’m watching a show that shows how real bread is made in Paris...I’m getting hungrier by the minute and even though bread is good in Holland too, nothing beats a true French baguette or croissant.

Ohhh Dd will often ask us to make/get her something, take two bites is done and will ask for something else three minutes later!!! Also she wants to taste anything and everything!!! Which is amazing considering all the struggles we have with ds, but also let me eat my artisanal Brie, walnut and honey sandwich in peace thank you very much . |

So cute nam2013! B ended up in a kayak today at the neighbor’s! we let the boys paddle down to the beach (a couple hundred yards from our dock). They pulled their kayaks up on the sand, swam for a bit, then paddled back and around our corner of the lake. The other boy is 9 and is experienced, but today was B’s first try. But he did so great and was just glowing with pride. Pretty sure he’s going to be asking for a kayak for Xmas. |

+whatever to the endless put that is my kids’ stomachs. I cringe thinking about my grocery bill in 5-10 years. I will probably exclusively have to shop at Costco/Sams for value pack crap.
For some reason I keep yawning. I think I need another mid day nap, but I have to get ready for my laser appt.

Apparently Cadence's best friend whom she's known for just this week at gymnastics camp birthday is tomorrow. So we swung by Target to grab her a gift. Some older woman thanked me for having Cadence wear a mask. She wears a mask everywhere, but ok.
Mh was confused as to why we would get a gift for her. Um, because she is Cadence's best friend this week and tomorrow is her birthday. Why not?
