PSA: the Certificate of Birth from the hospital is NOT the same as a birth certificate from Vital Statistics. I mean, it only has all of the same information included footprints, but the dept of motor vehicles does not acknowledge it as actual proof that you exist.

Then the lady tells me, just run home and get the right one. This is all I have lady. I thought this WAS the right one.
My mother is now looking through her stuff, but it looks like I'll be signing up for one of those September appointments I scoffed at earlier. 🤦🤦🤦

jewels sorry, I just got here today so it’s probably too late but the Tick Tic Diner is right by Zinburger and they have outdoor dining or the TGI Friday’s in the same shopping center as Zinburger does also. There is also Applebee’s and Chevy’s on the other side of the highway behind the Barnes and Nobles. None are as good as Zinburger but if you have the kids, they will work. I just saw Zinburger is closing all but 2 locations and they one by me is one staying open. I’m so happy, I love it there. We will have to meet someday.

klong11- I have run into this issue when we start new employees and they try to bring that as their birth certificate for the I9. The other one to check is marriage licenses! I learned that when I tried to enroll my husband in health benefits at my last job. Whatever the officiant signed is not the official doc. You need the one filed with the county/state.

DH got the official word that he will not be returning to his office at all in 2020. We now plan to convert the back sunroom into an actual office. I’m crossing everything that the rest of us return to school.

We don’t know where MH’s is. After looking online, Mh sent his dad to the county clerk to get a copy. It was quick. Of course he is lucky that his dad is retired and would jump at the opportunity to get out of the house. Lol. Check to see if your state has that option. If not LA also had the option to get a copy online through vital check I think. ETA: he is also trying to renew his license. |

Well, today I put on my ‘martyr’ hat and embarked on the torturous task of getting our annual chair photos with the kids. It was actually the least painful yet; only had to take about 50 to get a couple decent ones, lol. Sharing one here but don’t judge if I recycle and use on my Xmas cards  *poof* |

My H ruined my night to myself. He's headed home.
He drove 5 hours to Kearny, Nebraska this morning and is driving back home now. He was an hour away from Omaha. So tomorrow morning he will get up and drive 3 hours back to Omaha. It doesn't make sense to me.

I just bought tap shoes. Josie’s dance school is going on vacation for a month and she’s wants to practice (and one of the best ways to get better is to teach someone) so I’m going to try and learn from her! I love to dance but I have no rhythm and no coordination!
