This may be a FFTC but I actually just spent $$$ on one for me. It's supposed to help prevent wrinkles because the satin doesn't absorb all of the moisturizers & creams on your face. I bought M's off Amazon. I'll spend $$$ on one for her when she's a bit older. Maybe also a FFTC I’m 34 and still don’t use creams or mosturizers 🙄. My skin care obsessed 21yo niece almost passed out when I told her. She brought over a toner and a cream the next day 😂. I don't either and I'm 39. I bought a face moisturizer recently with SPF50 but that is more because I don't like the way the regular sunscreen feels. I actually don't even know what toner is. I do have a satin pillowcase though. It prevents hair breakage. |

inthekitty enjoy your vacation, you earned it! DD has another huge matted knot in her hair. I worked on it for 2 hours then called my neighbor who is a hairstylist and offered her all my money to fix it. DD is at her house now. If my neighbor hasn’t blocked my number when she’s done, I’m going to have her cut my hair too. I hope she can get it out. Is she just a restless sleeper or what? I think she’s just poor at caring for her hair and does not let me do it. |

Hair update: the knot is out and DD and I both have fresh, new haircuts. She curled mine for me so I felt like I should go out so I went to the pet store to get a toy for my friend’s puppy we are going to meet soon and a toy for my parent’s new puppy also.
I will also be researching satin pillow cases and skin care routines. Add me to the 39 and no skin care routine (or ability to do hair or makeup). Thank you all!

+ to not being able todo hair and make up either, I mean I try to make myself look presentable each morning, but that’s about it.
I suck at these things in general, besides before my wedding day I never had a manicure, I get shivers just thinking about someone giving me a massage, i don’t like perfume & I went on vacation without a razor. I do wear dresses every day 😂.

Hi! I had A's (late) 2 year appointment today. The kid who normally bloody murder screams at the Dr did great and he's growing a ton! Last visit I was excited he was on the growth curve for height and weight finally and now he's in the 60th percentile for both!

Daryl is on my shit list now. As soon as I figure out which one he is I'm keeping my eye on him.

I don’t like a massage. Unless it’s like a super flat hand I feel like I’m being pinched. I’ve had hot stone ones that I have enjoyed.
I shave every day, winter or summer
I do a simple vitamin c serum or a glycolic serum (at least I think that’s what it’s called) each day and I rarely straightened my hair in the summer, but do on the winter.
Pre-pandemic I got my nails done every ten days to two weeks and my toes about once a month.
I love a spa treatment.

Now I have enjoyed not putting much makeup on since this all started. On workdays I only put concealer, mascara, and brush a bronzer or powder on my forehead.
I guess I did the bare minimum to begin with because pre pandemic to that list I would add a tinted moisturizer/foundation and a bare swipe of blush.

Property manager update: DH called the owner and they put their heads together on all this stuff. Lo and behold, he was charged for the exact. Same. Things. Hello, FRAUD. DH is firing off a letter today and is sending all correspondence, etc. to the state attorney general, board of realtors and BBB. This bunch of idiots is going down. Wait. They charged the property manager for the same thing they took off your deposit. Wtf? Take them down mr. Flamingo. Yup. Insane, right? No telling how long this dipshit has gotten away with stuff like this. Bad enough to be lazy or incompetent, but this is just beyond the pale. It’s so predatory...preying on absentee owners and tenants (many military) who are moving out of town and don’t have the know-how or bandwidth to deal with this stuff. It makes me so angry. If she skims $500+ off each party at every turnover, that’s tens of thousands of dollars in BS fees that she is—I’m sure—pocketing. DH is on the warpath. |

We've had similar fish experiences too @klongoria. Infact, one of our fishies is named Daryl too. He killed and ate Larry but the other Daryl just died of natural causes I think.
The fish have actually changed names multiple times. S named one Larry and then didn't feel like naming the rest so MH and I did it. Olds like me will get that reference
For a while he was Dr. Seuss, then he went back to Daryl before finally settling on Gerald.

I do very little makeup most days too and now even less.
However, if I didn't shave daily, I could not wear anything that showed my legs. I'm "blessed" with dark, fast growing hair. Lucky me.
I often choose my outfit based on if I had time to shave that morning.

My mom actually randomly sent my sister's and I each a face moisturizer probably 2 months ago just as a little surprise. Well I love it but it's pricey (for me at least...$56) and found out Clark has been using it! Wtf C, nope!

I did recently find Tula blurring primer. It feels like a lotion and super hydrating but has a tint to it. Typically daily I wear toner, moisturizer, sunscreen and the primer. Makes me feel slightly more put together. I up my game if we have plans and will add more when I go back to work in 2 weeks... At least from mask up 😂

Yeah I don’t know what primer is either. Or what bronzer does. It all seems like a lot of work.
When I used to work with people I wore mascara, eyeliner, a dap of shadow, blush so I don’t look like Elvira, and some concealer on my eye circles. Now I do nothing.
