Oi... I have quite the skincare routine. Toner, serums, masks, moisturizers, you name it!
I can say that I am barely wearing makeup now while WFH tho. Most days I wear nothing!

Now I have enjoyed not putting much makeup on since this all started. On workdays I only put concealer, mascara, and brush a bronzer or powder on my forehead. I guess I did the bare minimum to begin with because pre pandemic to that list I would add a tinted moisturizer/foundation and a bare swipe of blush. Ahem. You’re freakin model gorgeous and can get away with the bare minimum. Some of us can’t! Ahem. Girl stop. You are too generous. Now your skin looked so smooth. And don’t even try to say it was all makeup!

My mom actually randomly sent my sister's and I each a face moisturizer probably 2 months ago just as a little surprise. Well I love it but it's pricey (for me at least...$56) and found out Clark has been using it! Wtf C, nope! 😂 @ C. You would think we shouldn’t have to worry about that until they are older.

tgrimes I wanted to ask you what you thought about the snail all in one cream/moisturizer. I think you got the Mizon one. I’m not impressed much with the cosrx one. It’s so thin and definitely can’t be used alone as a moisturizer. It’s more like a serum but not actually a serum. I don’t know- probably won’t buy again.

The mizon is definitely a moisturizer and I really like it. I have the Corsyx 96 essence I use at night and then I have a night cream. I’ve heard good things about the corsyx AIO cream and was going to try it next. Can’t layer too many things under makeup because my face is so oily.

Yeah I don’t know what primer is either. Or what bronzer does. It all seems like a lot of work. When I used to work with people I wore mascara, eyeliner, a dap of shadow, blush so I don’t look like Elvira, and some concealer on my eye circles. Now I do nothing. Primer is what you use before applying makeup. It smoothies out your pores and wrinkles better so your foundation doesn’t settle into them, making them appear larger. I makes my makeup go on smoother. There’s also eye primer that helps you eye makeup stay on throughout the day.

Hey. I have been so tired all day. We went to a friends house this afternoon and walked to the park near there. The girls had fun playing with their friends.
I have a lot of skincare and makeup...but right now I’m really not using much. I do need to get better about washing my face twice a day, but right now is not when that’s going to happen. Since I had to start wearing a mask I basically only put on mascara, because that’s about all you can see.

Whenever I wear just the AOI, by the afternoon, I can feel the dryness, especially where I have the mask on. It may just be the mask. 🤷🏽♀️

In the morning, I use a hydrating toner, an eye cream and the mizon AOI. During the week I’ll put my primer & makeup on top of all that.

tgrimes way late but I looked up the Blissy pillowcase you ordered and I might do that one instead. Seems like in reading reviews of the Nordstrom one I’ve been eyeing, maybe quality control has slipped lately. So thanks!

I'm very pro satin pillowcase. Maddie used to get crazy tangles and it helped. Mostly though I'm weird about tactile sensations and they are very soothing and cooling to me. As a kid instead of a special blanket, I had a special pillowcase. Still have my threadbare satin one.

Looks like I'll be looking for a satin cover for Cadence. The girl falls asleep in the proper position and wakes up sideways with her feet hanging off the bed, or upside down. Her hair is crazy tangled, even her wet brush gives me the side eye in the morning.

I tried using only that when I first got it but knew that It couldn’t be the only moisturizer I use because of the consistency. I only use it in the morning now and then I put another moisturizer on top. I’m really just trying to get rid of it at this point. I won’t just chuck it, so I use it.

She said it gets the tangles out but does nothing for removing the dead strands of hair which was DD’s problem with the knot. I told her now she can use the wet brush first but then must go over her hair again with my brush.

H hates for me to brush her hair because it’s so tangly and because it’s so thick I have to brush it in layers with the wet brush. I guess I need to get her a second brush to use afterwards.

This is good to know. I let Josie’s hair dry naturally most of the year but I do run it through the revlon hair dryer revolving brush on cool once she’s dressed for the day. Hopefully that is enough.
