Hey ladyN.
How old is baby? 8 months
How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing: 7-9 times. Solids: usually just breakfast. Need to up my game there.
How are nights? Inconsistent
How is pumping/nursing going? Nursing: great. Pumping: not great.
Any bf/pumping goals? Goal updates? Pumping til 1 year. BF not sure.
Q/rants/cute stories: I can't figure out pumping. I only am away from baby 3 days right now and some days my pumps are Ok and some they are horrible. In July I'll be away from baby 5 days a week so I need to get this figured out. Currently I can pump extra on the days that I'm home with her to make up for my shortage.

unringthebell - How's your water intake? I find that makes a big difference with my pumping output.

How old is baby? 9 months
How often are you nursing? Solids? On demand (or pumping at work). Solids - baby food and baby mums
How are nights? He wakes up once a night (when healthy) but has a lot of ear infections so that isn't the case most of the time.
How is pumping/nursing going? Fine
Any bf/pumping goals? Goal updates? No goal - last time I fed until he weaned at 13mo. We will see what happens this time.

unringthebell Do you mean travel for 5 days? I travel a lot for work so if you have any questions feel free to ask. If you want to up your supply - try drinking gatorade and power pumping. It has worked for me in the past.

You can do it - its just about relaxing in the office. Photos of baby - or just scrolling through fb whatever passes time and helps you relax. I don't look at what I'm getting while I am pumping because I feel that stresses me more about it.

catlady22, it's annoying because some days are fine and some are just horrible. And I don't see any difference in things I do on the horrible days. Like today I pumped 3 times and never felt like my left boob emptied and I didn't get anywhere near what she would take in 3 bottles. Luckily (or unluckily) today I got called to pick my son up from pre-school early so I got her early too and she hadn't drank her last bottle. So I did end up with enough to replace what she ate.

unringthebell do you get any sense of a clogged duct when you get less? I get that while traveling. I have to use a warm washcloth and massage the breast while pumping to get it out.

I don't, but I worry that's what's going on so I do offer that side to LO first when I get home just in case. Maybe I should try lecithin I think that's supposed to prevent clogs. I'll try massaging next time too.
