I'm doing a grocery pickup and a guy came out, took his mask off and put it in his mouth to hold it while getting his keys out. Probably not supposed to put the nasty germ infested mask in your mouth dude!

Also morning! The day started with our 20w scan, everything looked great. Bubs is in the 25% for most things, however it’s tummy is around the 50%, so we’ll have a cute chubby belly 🥰. I had my midwife appointment afterwards, my iron levels looked good, my blood pressure however was low, which would also explain the dizziness & tiredness. Not much I can do outside eating some licorice & a little bit more salt. I’m incredibly relieved & hope I can relax and enjoy this pregnancy a bit more!

What did you do at work today? Oh, I just printed out pictures of cat food for Cadence to feed her stuffed cat she brought to the office with her.
Doing the most with my part time hours.

After watching the movie Clue Maddie is obsessed with it. So we played the board game for the first time last night. It was a lot of fun. Cass figured it out and her character happened to be the killer. I teased her that she has to write sentences about not murdering.

Just the sheer volume of stupid texts I'm getting from a co-irker for my weekend job is making me over it before I even start. She's on my list already.

My mask-related story...so we flew on Delta (who btw did an excellent job with sanitation, social distancing, etc). They very clearly stated in every communication and at every access-point that masks must be worn on the plane.

And yet sure enough, a woman on our flight decided to try and skirt the rules. Delta had an employee stationed on the jet bridge who basically bodily blocked her path and was like, ‘ma’am, you’re not getting on the aircraft til there is a mask on your face’. She tried to argue but finally complied.

Look, Lady, I don’t enjoy this either but we’re all making a choice to fly and with that choice comes this policy. Don’t like it, don’t fly. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It is beyond frustrating for all you girls who have to go back in to the office. I’m so sorry. Even over here, where numbers are really dwindling down, working from home until at least September is the norm. If you do go to the office, you have to check to make sure not to many people had the same idea for that day.

It was actually nice out this morning, mid 70s with low humidity, so the girls and I took a walk and played at the park. After we got home I was out looking at my garden and deadheading where I ran into this guy:


I legit jumped when I almost grabbed it before I saw it.

Is baby nam our last baby? I can’t think of anyone left who plans to have more. I hope I’m missing someone, I’m not ready for the last N13 baby.

inthekitty I love the movie Clue. My best friend had it on VHS when we were growing up and we watched it non stop. I watched it on Prime not too long ago. The end makes me laugh every time!

The non-mask wearers just bewilder me. How hard is it? What does it take away from you? They are mandatory in my county everywhere. And you know what? I don't want to wear one on the treadmill at the gym. So you know what? I don't go to the fucking gym. I just can't handle it anymore. So many people on my FB feed, or random people who post in local FB groups, complaining about them. Just STFU and put it on. No one wants to see your face anyway!

I'm laughing at this but it's so true. Just put on the fucking mask and shut up already Karen. Just imagine if these fools put even half the energy to something good for the world that they do to pissing and moaning about masks. The world would be a much better place.

Dh and i had lunch out. I’m sad because it was at our favorite restaurant in town and they just announced they are closing next week, so this was likely our last time there. It’s one of a few restaurants we have that isn’t a chain, and the only thing we have even close to “upscale”. I hope someone till reopen it again eventually.

But lunch was great, and I had wine . Then stopped at a little boutique and bought a couple tops, then picked up a free bday iced coffee, and now I’m getting a pedicure. The Best.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I just came back from the furniture store where I bought a new couch and dining table. I’ve been pondering this forever and just needed to bit the bullet.

I was pleasantly surprised to come home and check my bank account to move funds around and see that DH got a $4k deposit from his work for hazard pay! We expected at most half that. So it’s like the furniture paid for itself🤷‍♀️
