Your new neighborhood sounds so perfect flamingo ! How long are you staying in Maine? I know they have a list of states that require a 14 day quarantine upon arrival. They had RI and Mass on it and our Governors were really pissed since we have less cases per capita than they do. It made me wonder how strict they were with enforcement. Yes, they do..pretty sure it's for all visitors/out-of-staters. Tourist season is so short up there and businesses are really struggling. My parents said there are already several shops and restaurants in our little town that have permanently closed  We fly into Boston b/c I can do a direct flight that way (booked these tix back in March), so I'm not sure what, if anything, they are doing to enforce it. Staying for 2 weeks, ha. My parents just stayed close to home their first couple weeks there and we plan to do the same; I just want the kids to be able to spend time on the lake and with my parents, and get out of the heat for a bit. |

First solo day went fine. The girls had their moments when they didn’t get along but mostly they did well. My friend dropped off chicken tetrazzini, which the girls refused to eat of course, that was pretty good. Also iced sugar cookies, yum. I just laid V down and she keeps making noises so hopefully she stays down for at least an hour or 2. I’m going to sleep shortly.

flamingo I must admit that I’m a little jealous you’re heading out to Maine . Hope you have the best time with your parents. Thanks! It’ll be different this year but there’s so much outdoors we can do that I think it will still be really fun. Plus, 70 degrees vs 90+ here in FL, I will take it! |

I hate that this pandemic is taking so many small businesses. I’m irrationally mad about my smoothie closing place here. All the other good places are a drive and not close my house. Hope you guys have fun in the outdoors. Those temps sound lovely. |

I spent a LOT of time there in my teenage years..the anniversary sale was so exciting back then bc I'd get doc martens on sale, lol. |
