I'm starting to feel more movement- especially after a good meal I'm just trying to imagine what it will feel like once the twins are a little bigger!

blabbermouth we have a twin bed in the room in our nursery too. Definitely thought we had another year before #2. So we have no room for a dresser or a chair, as much as I would love one. We have a rocker that I'm thinking we will put in front of the window or maybe not. I really don't think there's enough room. Our closet has really nice shelving so I think we can get away with no dresser. Depending on dimensions, I think the dresser on the heater side works. I THINK there are ways you can limit how wide the door opens so it doesn't accidently run into the dresser.

We're going to an amusement/water park today. I'm hoping since it's an off day it won't be as crowded. I'm excited for some dippin dots!

Just watched the season 5 finale of New Girl. Definitely started crying at the wedding. It's 6:00AM. Pregnancy is fun.

I still haven't announced to friends/social media yet. Any ideas? I haven't announced on social media yet either- friends know but only because the belly is obvious. I got a Big Brother est. 2017 shirt for DS that I'll put him in and post after Thursday. I saw a cute announcement where the oldest had a sign that said oldest, the youngest held a sign that said youngest but it was crossed out and then middle was written on it and the kid was frowning. I thought it was cute!

I still haven't announced to friends/social media yet. Any ideas? Well H just posted the "junk" shot so I wouldn't recommend something like that lol. I wanted to do something cute but never got around to it so I just found a pic like this one and put something about DS getting a little brother. I did want to do the future big brother shirt pic but lazy, I guess.

Question! I never used a white noise machine for DD because I just got into the habit of being quiet-ish while she slept. Do people think I should use one for #2? We'll be the only two at home during the day, but on weekends and any day when DD happens to be home from day care, I don't want to worry too much about her waking the baby up... thoughts?

grumpycat, our closet could be useful if we didn't have it mostly stuffed with a bunch of our stuff. There's one rod that we can hang their clothes on, which is plenty. But it has to hang out with our formal wear and guest bedding etc etc, haha. But if you have a full closet, I don't think you need a dresser at all. thatgolfb, you tease! jules1614, I'm just impressed they could get their kid to frown on command!

spacecadet , bethers , I've been feeling a lot of movement in the past few days too. Especially after a meal also! But I'd say 75% of what I feel is low and centered. Maybe that's where her butt hangs out? That or it's not the baby and it's something else, haha.

I'm feeling a lot of movement this morning. It's been very reassuring. I'm feeling tons of movement the last week or so, it's awesome. I am at the point where I can usually get some movement to happen just by poking my belly or drinking something cold. My anxiety has gone way down, heh.

Guys do you know what I've just realised Early November due dates are either 3/4 (depends if you think 27/28 is 3rd tri) weeks away from being in the 3rd trimester!!!

It's great to have so I don't have to worry about staying quiet, keeping the boys quiet, or worrying about loud noises outside. His turns off on its own and he can sleep without it if he has too. I'd say it wouldn't hurt to have it!

That plus this Saturday being "viability day" is pretty surreal. Maybe I'm weird for considering that a milestone, heh. PGAL brain is weird.

It's just nice knowing if god forbid anything happens, that the doctors/midwifes will do anything they can to help our babies!

Good question ... I need to think about this too. #2 will be doing to daycare at around 10-12 weeks old so s/he will need to get used to noise anyway. I think I'm going to play it by ear and see.

I didn't use one with DD until she was almost 1 but she still uses it now and she just turned 2. She can sleep without it but it's especially helpful if we have people over ( she's a really light sleeper). I'm team it doesn't hurt.

We'll be the only two at home during the day, but on weekends and any day when DD happens to be home from day care, I don't want to worry too much about her waking the baby up... thoughts? So my advice is don't be quiet - ever. That's what we did with DD and she sleeps through anything and she sleeps anywhere. Now there's a good chance that we just got lucky but we were never quiet. We didn't whisper in the hospital room when she slept, we let her nap in the PNP in the living room with multiple adults talking and with the tv on, we vacuumed, we sang, we did everything we would normally do with her sleeping right there - from day 1. We used a white noise machine at night with DD but it was more to calm her down / soothe her than to block out noise.

We used a white noise machine at night with DD but it was more to calm her down / soothe her than to block out noise. I agree, and that's really what we did with DD. I didn't tiptoe around, though I did make some efforts not to be SUPER loud while she was napping. I could let her nap in the living room in a PNP while cleaning, listening to music, etc. and it was fine as long as I wasn't banging things around, vacuuming the same floor, etc. I just worry about those times when things are quieter for a while because DD is outside, or napping, or whatever else, and then she comes in and there is a sudden change in noise level. Does that make sense? I worry that my level of noise is a lot lower than DD's level of noise. I just remembered that I actually have a white noise machine that someone gave me about a year ago, so it's all moot because I apparently own one. I think I'll try it out and see what happens. Thanks for the feedback!
