It's errand day over here, so this is how the day will go; -my Mom is here and even though she says she comes for the kids she'll want to clean everything cause you know the way I do it 'isnt quite right' , -the kids are nuts, -I get anxiety because i have to go shopping, then get annoyed that some fucking idiot had to eat a fucking monkey or bat or whatever they eat at those GD wet markets and now i can only go out once every two fucking weeks to get everything i need, -something always ends up going wrong and today was no different cause laundry detergent fell and the lid broke off so it's all over me, I mean it's Method beach sage smell so it could be worse.
Then I'll try and work a bit then make dinner and send my Mom away. The kids will be crazy until they go to bed cause of the day with Baba, I'll pour wine and then work until midnight cause of all the time I missed during the day.
Fuck today, man.

OK, I did it. It was just 3 or 4 questions...hopefully I didn't sound like a complete idiot! I'm assuming it's a print story, but luckily I had my hair/makeup done b/c I was at the pedi earlier, lol. And yes mwhip I hate the way I look on camera, too. Whatās the general feeling about going back to school in fl, flamingo? I feel like itās still all over the place here. Our district has sent out 2 surveys in the last few weeks and in the most recent one, 72% of respondents want schools to re-open ānormallyā (5 full days/week) in Aug. as planned. We are a very suburban county and case count has been extremely low, almost negligible. The county/district due north of us (where I grew up) is more urban and sentiment seems a bit more mixed, although from what Iāve seen in results of surveys, etc. the majority wants to be back in school. ETA: Iāve seen both district plans and am fine with them. Theyāve created options for families who prefer to continue distance leaning, and it seems like keeping the elementary schoolers in brick-and-mortar classrooms will be a priority if things head south and they have to make adjustments.

Isnāt your state having a surge inthekitty? If so it is really irresponsible to have you guys work on site. Is he the end all be all or is there a step up? Do you have anything that makes you high risk if you got the virus? If so telework is a reasonable accommodation given that the success of it is known. Iām really mad at your bossš¾ Eta: I should have kept reading. I hope you get somewhere with his superior tomorrow.

I donāt want to jinx it but I had very little work to do today. I watched Brittany Runs a Marathon (cute but just ok) and then started to tackle some purging of Cs crap. I didnāt do a ton but was able to organize a bit which made me happy.

Got a ride for DD and joined the wine tasting. People were asking the best way to store wine when you donāt finish it. I was confused....

wedding, yes my state is having an increase. It's infuriating and irresponsible. We've been strict about social distancing/masks so I'm not happy about being flung with all these yahoos here who DGAF. My boss is basically a total wuss and doesn't want to boss and tell some people they can telework and others they can't. The MDs have some evals that have to be done in person so long term they could probably telework 75% of the time but not FT. Not my fucking problem. They chose that profession. They know they have to physically examine people so my boss shouldn't be shaking with his tail between his legs and afraid of accusations of favoritism when we have different roles. They also earn more than $100k more than me a year but you don't see any concern about salary discrepancies. But for now, none of us need to be here. My boss is just afraid to deal with the problem people (which are problem people in the office too). It's completely arbitrary.

I bet youāre happy to be home, trtlcrzy! I hope V gives you some sleep tonight! inthekitty, Iām so sorry. @klongoria, we talked about this a while ago, but I just got back from Home Depot with two giant pieces of plywood for a tap board for Josie. The rest of her classes this summer are all virtual and theyāre an hour twice a week so I thought I better pick some thing up before I start destroying my floors. She gave it a shot once we got home and itās awesome (and was less than $25)

I try to follow the arrows but I still find myself screwing up occasionally. I'm distracted by my list or a kid (or the smell of my own breath...bleh), trying to stay 6' from everyone, having to backtrack b/c another shopper is taking 37 minutes to pick out a box of Cheerios, etc.
I don't think most people are doing it 'wrong' maliciously.
Honestly, I feel like I'm probably in the store *longer* (and thus theoretically more at risk of exposure or exposing someone else) with the arrow system than under normal circumstances.

I have not been to a store to walk around/shop, yet, but I have done a few curbside pick ups and I see more people wearing masks than not. Iām hopeful that most people are following the rules.

I havenāt gone grocery shopping, thatās been DHās thing. But, I have gone to target and to be honest I keep my distance from people and donāt really pay attention to if they are wearing a mask or not. I always wear mine so š¤·š»āāļø. If I see aisles with arrows I follow them but I havenāt seen them much at the stores I go to.

Imma do what they say. At least in the US, antiintellectualism is a huge problem. It was evident back with Bush Jr. in which people were more invested in having a president they could "have a beer with" than someone who was intelligent. It only became more extreme and the ultimate example of this is how we arrived with Trump. People don't want to be intimidated by someone smarter than them advising them or telling them want to do. I'm just at a loss about the whole matter.

Hi! It was a busy day and I didnāt have time to read much all day. M2 had a great day! MHās meeting didnāt last long, so he was able to come. We spent the afternoon at the zoo. It was nice and M2 was so happy to see animals. We got to the hotel and didnāt have long before we had to grab dinner before it got busier. The kids should be pooped and go to sleep quick tonight. Tomorrow we have bike riding and a canoe at a park then we had home in the afternoon.
Thanks for the birthday wishes for him!
