We biked to the park which we haven’t been to in a while. L finally doesn’t hate the burley so it’s more enjoyable getting here. Should’ve thought to pack a lunch tho, the kids are already hungry and we’ve been here 15 minutes.

We just got back from some errands. We started with the playground, then I bribed the kids with a Happy Meal before setting off to some nurseries to look at planters.
I’ve got a ton of work to do around here and all I want to do is look at ‘fun’ stuff online.

Well in the midst of last week of school and work I've decided that today is a good day to fight with my community league.
The city has cut back on certain amenities and extras for saving money due to COVID, there are multiple green parks, playground parks and green spaces that are now so overgrown within my community. Basically there are two communities within the community league but yet only one (not mine) get the 'perks' of the use of a riding lawnmower due to the proximity of the clubhouse and the excuse they used was that there isnt a trailer to move the mower. Clearly that didnt go over well with me especially cause there was/is no call out to ask anyone that has a trailer to step up, or use some money from the fund to rent a trailer every few weeks. Hopefully they have a solution within the next little while, OR it looks like I'll be joining the community board. HA!

Hi! Busy morning. It’s wet and rainy out today, but I’ve been painting. We got the primer rolled out. I’ll probably do a few walls of the paint today and the rest tomorrow.
It’s break and lunch time. Need food in my belly.

The kids saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the Johnny Depp version) during a rain-break last week at camp and loved it; they're currently watching the Gene Wilder version so I can prove to them it's better. All these modern remakes...! :shakes cane:

My boss is on speaker phone talking to a sleep consultant for his almost 3yo girl. I gave him all of my login info to the sleep sense program and talked him through what to do. He's attempted to sleep train her 4 times now. He's been sleeping on her floor since their new baby arrived last November. He's unsuccessful because he always gives in, which I've told him multiple times you have to stay strong. Once you give in you have to start back over from scratch.
He's paying this lady $$$ and she's telling him exactly what I already told him to do. Lol. I will refrain from telling him I told you so.

Its so hard. When we moved into the new house we told the boys it was a rule, they had to sleep in their own beds. No kids are allowed in mommy and daddys bed. And because J was still purposely not potty trained for us, only potty trained kids could move in 😄 solved that problem over night lol. |

A county I used to represent went out for RFPs and their is a runoff for tax assessor-collector. One of the candidates is a tax office employee and they think she could have a pull on one of the county commissioners to vote for us. So guess what I'm doing tomorrow....putting door hangers on the voters that participated in the last election.
I hope my ankle holds up. It's supposed to rain but at least it won't be 90 degrees or more.

Still working on closed files over here. I've spent most of the day down in our basement going through boxes for the no longer with the firm estate attorney. I told him we were getting rid of files and what did he want to keep. Why his shit is still here, who knows. He said just the estate planning files. So I go through all 100+ of his boxes and pull all of the estate planning ones. Emailed him today and said he has 33 boxes of files, when would he like to come and get them.
33 boxes? Can you just go through and scan each signed will (not original, just a copy, the clients have the originals) and email them to me or put them on a flash drive.
Are you effing kidding me? I'm not going through ALL of those files just to scan a non-original will.
I emailed the "office manager" and head partner and noped the shit out of that. I do not have time to scan his shit AND clear out the offsite units. Nope. Not going to. They agreed. In fact the office manager said we should just drop all 33 boxes off in the dudes driveway.
I'm cool with that.

Things are slow going over here, unfortunately. I got my epidural about an hour ago and am well on my way to being numb. I can still move my feet at this point, don’t know how long that will last. Can’t feel contractions though so that’s good.

Can’t feel contractions though so that’s good. I just came back to check on you! Maybe the epidural will get things moving now that you can relax🤞 I was never lucky enough to enjoy not feeling contractions, all three times the baby came within 15 min of getting it🤦 |

Got a call this afternoon to come back in for a 2nd mammogram. I went in and had it done on Thursday, but I guess they saw something questionable. So I go in tomorrow for a 2nd one and possible ultrasound as well. Joy.

tallb poor girls. I hope tomorrow is better for you klong11 I’ve been there. Hopefully it’s just fibroids. The OB finally came and broke my water and I’m at a 4 so cross all your fingers and toes that things pick up.
