My in laws are coming over for dinner tonight. Mil asked what I was making after she invited themselves over. I told her delivery 🤷♀️ I know she doesn't mean to be a pain but I just want to eat takeout, put the kids to bed at 8 and watch TV until 1am.

guster I watched The Lovebirds last night on Netflix. I really liked it. If you liked Kumail in Silicon Valley, I think you'll like this movie. We watched this last weekend. I felt like the chemistry wasn’t there with the lead actors and it kind of killed it. 😔 |

Did anyone watch Sweet Magnolia on Netflix? We watched the first episode last night. I think I will like it.
I just saw 3 boys walking up the street across from me with balloons spelling PROM. I kinda want to take another walk to see what they have planned.

The teacher came by everyone’s houses to drop off the portfolio of work and see the kids and take pictures. It was really sweet. She got them presents too. I just love our little school so far.
Then this afternoon we went to his bffs house and ordered food and hung out. Always a good time with them.

Hi! Not sure if I checked in today.
I’m planning to watch Watchmen this weekend while HBO has it streaming for free. I need to try Sweet Magnolias.
Last week my dad called me just to tell me that he was coming this week. He always says he is going to do things, but you have to take it with a grain of salt until the time comes. Based on that call, it really sounded like he was going to come and when we didn’t hear from him yesterday, I knew he wasn’t coming. I was holding out a little hope that he would call this morning, but nada. Dang I had plans for him to help with some house projects this weekend. Oh well. 🤷🏽♀️
I think I’m popping some NyQuil so I can get some good sleep tonight. Tomorrow is the first day two weeks I can sleep in. 🙌🏽

I just cleaned the master bath, kitchen and living room. I’ve had a lot of pelvic pressure and cramping today. Idk if things will happen tonight but if they do I don’t want my dad and/or step mom coming to stay the night in a disaster house. We took the car seats out of dh’s vehicle when the girls went to my sisters and I have a feeling that we should put them back just in case, we are leaving that vehicle to be used while in the hospital. With everything so close I feel like I need to get my shit together.

Hi ladies. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. My family spoiled me and made it special. It was a emotional day. Even though it was a relief for the girls to be done with school it was very bittersweet for me watching their last online meetings. I'm usually not a sap about that stuff either.
I've also been really depressed about returning to the office. Friday was my last day home. My workplace is being total assholes about it. They've made it clear they don't plan to support telework in the fall even though it looks like the kids will only be in school 2 days a week. They are total pricks. I've wanted to telework even before the pandemic but the fact they won't even support it during a pandemic doesn't give me much hope of that changing.
So overall birthday was good, but I was all over the place emotionally. Thank you so much for thinking about me.
