Morning! Working from home today, and I’m not in the mood. I took a break to go to PT and it hurt! I signed up to be a class mom, because I’m not busy enough already 😜. Trying to figure out what to have for dinner tonight.

We actually have a couple fun things to look forward to today. The kids are exited for a little kids concert at lunch at a friends house (was supposed to be a larger event that had to be downsized) and then we have a sitter coming for the first time in 4 months tonight!

slenle hope you have something fun planned! My parents are babysitting next week. I made dinner reservations to eat outside at a really nice restaurant. It’ll be good for my H and I to have a night outside the house just the two of us.

Morning! MH took the day off and we sent the kids to the in-laws. I'm going to deep clean the house while he does a bunch of yard work. But first, tea in peace and quiet.

We are hosting my niece's bday party tomorrow (just our side of the family so nothing big) because BIL isn't comfortable with people going in and out of their house but is comfortable going in and out of other people's houses? I don't know. It'll mostly be outside but people will need to pee and it's supposed to be hot so people may need a break in the AC!

Morning, happy Friday!
The neighbour had a dentist apt this morning and was going to take the kids to just sit and not touch anything in the waiting room, ummm no, so they are here now and the four of them are hilarious. I think they forget the Julia is just 3 and sometimes her words arent as clear and the boy sometimes tries to say she is saying something wrong and B just jumps on him immediately. I guess he isnt so passive when it comes to his sister. The girls are dressed up as Ana and Elsa and the boys are trading LEGO or sumshit.

Kids are outside having lunch. I’m online shopping for outside organizational things for the pool/towels and getting sidetracked by silly things like led color changing lights to jazz up the water.

Hi! Day 324 of the move...not really but feels that way 🤪 Glad I’m not doing this again any time soon.
I think we’re going to spend the night in the new house tonight. DH and I were both over there this morning, he’s there now working in the yard and I came back to get C from camp and finish cleaning my parents’ house. I’m tired of making the drive so I want to get everything done today so we can close things up for them.

Hey. I got tested for covid this morning (current SOP for inductions and csections at my hospital) and picked up my breast pump. I’m supposed to be housebound now until I go in on Monday, so it’s going to be a long weekend. I have been searching google for an inflatable pool and this shortage is killing me. I just want a decent sized one for my backyard that isn’t a billion dollars, is that too much to ask? I might send DH to Walmart tonight to look for one. Otherwise not much to report, the kids are being whiny and don’t want to play outside even though it’s super nice out. Happy birthday inthekitty! |

T graduated K on a Google Meet today. His teacher made a video of the year and it was showing all the holiday parties. They got to Valentine’s Day and said told me “St. Patrick’s Day will be next, I just know it.” I started to tear up because obviously there was no St. Patrick’s Day party. After, I took him to his school to take some pictures and then his friend’s parents had hired an ice cream truck to come to their house for a bunch of the kids. A few years ago our city passed a no food truck law and ice cream trucks can no longer drive around so we can only have them if they are hired to private events.
Now I’m waiting for C to wake up and we will head to the beach until Wednesday.
