Hi.
I got up with the kids so DH could sleep in, but he promised to make sausage biscuits and I'm really hungry so I hope he doesn't sleep *too* late. I'm Pinterest'ing while the kids watch TV.
Tonight we have the block party in our new neighborhood. I'm not sure if the sellers will be there but I would love to meet them, if so. This has been such a pleasant transaction--their realtor friended me on FB, lol--and I feel like we could easily be friends...you know, if they weren't moving cross-country and whatnot.

GPS says we will arrive at 1:30! I work at 2:30 for some dumb reason and didnt fall back to sleep until 4. Woke a little after 5 and got up to shower. We hit the road a little after 7.
The house we stay at, which is owned by Hs cousin is for sale and I found out this morning, it's under contract. I hope they buy something else in the area we can continue to use for vacations.
Anyway, looking forward to drinks at the ocean this afternoon!

Happy Saturday!
It’s my work weekend. So far it’s quiet and waiting to see if they have any patients for me. Hope I’m out of here at 10am.
I was just looking at IG and someone came up on my suggested following and I recognized her face but can’t think of her screen name on here. I think it with an F and last she posted on here I think she was in FL going back to school to apply for med school. She has two girls and I remember her older dog had some health issues maybe. Looks like she is in SC running for Congress. It’s killing me I can’t remember her screen name.

Morning. I’m all alone because DH picked up a shift this morning. Unfortunately I’m also car-less because something is wrong with his vehicle so he took my van. That’s ok, I don’t have anywhere to be although it does make me a little nervous to be without a vehicle. I did schedule a pedicure for later this afternoon so that will be nice and he will be home before that.

Morning. We had a busy week so decided to do nothing today. I suck at doing that 😂, so we packed the kids up for a bike ride and ice cream. There’s a big field where the kids run of some energy.

Morning!
Yesterday was so busy with work especially in the morning, had to take a break from it to pack up B cause my Mom took him for the weekend to the summer house. Since she was here I ran to the grocery store for a few things. So it’s just the girl and me this weekend, she woke up asking for B so I’ve got to think of some fun one on one stuff for us.

Dropping Cadence off at Camp Grandma today for 2 whole weeks! She's so excited she woke up at 5. And woke me up. Not cool.
We are also moving our room situation around at the house. Cadence will stay in her room, but I'm moving from the master to mh's music room. He's combining his music room and where he sleeps to the master and we're changing the room where he sleeps, that has the cat boxes in the closet, to a play room for Cadence. I'm very excited to have a space with zero toys in it! But, with the moving comes painting. And I'm not looking forward to that at all. 👎

Hello! Friends dropped off donuts this morning. MH is running errands now and then pretty chill day. The kids and I made watermelon slushies this morning (frozen watermelon, lime and a touch of honey), so good.

We decided to take a detour trough the dunes... bad decision, we took a wrong turn and after 45 minutes going up and down hills on our crappy city bikes we ended up about 5 minutes from where we started. I’m sore and exhausted 😂.

I just got a call from my girls and H is sad and missing me. I had a feeling she’d do this at some point during her stay. One night randomly she was very upset about being apart from us when the baby is born. I feel bad but she’ll be fine.

Ds has a swelling on the lower left side face and lips. It doesn’t hurt according to him, but it looks so weird. If it hasn’t gone down by morning, we might have to take him in and have it checked out. Any of your kids have had this?

nam2013 any sign of a bee or wasp sting? Does the inside of his mouth look red and swollen, like a gum/tooth issue?

Ds has a swelling on the lower left side face and lips. It doesn’t hurt according to him, but it looks so weird. If it hasn’t gone down by morning, we might have to take him in and have it checked out. Any of your kids have had this? Last year L had swelling in her forehead/in between her eyes. It made her face look totally different! I took her to the ER because they were worried it could be an abscess (but I think they were especially worried due to the location of hers so don't want you to freak out). Turns out it was some insane sinus infection BUT they said it very well could have been from a masquito bite she had about an inch over the swelling area. They said it could definitely be a reaction from that! ETA: the bite didn't cause the sinus infection, just to be clear. Before her CT scan they just said the bite definitely could be the cause. |

I told the pedicurist to hit the pressure points during the massage and now I’m having painful contractions. Hopefully this actually turns out to do something for real.

Got home and mh had moved all the toys out of the master (the sitting area was basically Cadence's play area) and already started painting. He's very excited about this move. I should have suggested it sooner.
