Work is crazy. I actually went into work and kids went to DC. They are the only ones there so I was ok with it. I don’t plan to make this a habit plus once more kids come back L can’t go since she’s already full but she’s doing it now because no one is there.

Dude was a beast about going to Camp today. Best I can tell, he’s developed a moderately serious social anxiety problem. He’s acting shy around his best friends and teachers he likes. He is happy to stay inside seeing nobody forever, apparently. It broke my heart to leave him there, but I know he needs time outside and around other kids at this point. I was tempted to just scrap it and bring him home, but I know that’s just going to exacerbate things.
We have a neurodevelopmental pediatrician visit for X in a bit. I wish Pete and/or Tim could go just because we don’t see him often and these are very informative, and the recommendations he makes are the basis for all treatments and therapies, but they’re only allowing one adult at this time.

Evie's knee situation made me schedule an appt for Thursday with an orthopedic about my ankle. It's not getting any better and it's been 1.5 weeks.

Sorry to hear that A is having a hard time adjusting cagoldi, there are so many transitions and emotions to manage it's practically impossible. You're doing great and hopefully he feels better within the next couple days. |

Hey. We spent some time outside this morning since it was not super hot out. We are supposed to get a thunderstorm at some point today but I think it’ll be later, yesterday we didn’t end up getting anything but super bad wind. I am going to make lunch in a minute and then when the girls are done eating I will drop them off at MIL’s house. I have my OB appt later this afternoon. I hope she tells me that I’ve made some progress and that all this cramping and pressure isn’t for nothing. Also, sorry if I sound like a huge complainer I’m really not trying to be. You're pregnant, complaining is part of the job. As long as we get squish pictures when the time comes, complain all you want 😊 |

Just got done at the OB. Still at 1cm which is super lame but she did strip my membranes so maybe that’ll get things moving. She also said that if nothing happens by my next appt then we can schedule an induction for 39 weeks, so only 2 weeks left!

mwhip I hope you and E are home resting now and she’s good to go for your trip. trtlcrzy wow, any day now! I was allowed an hour to clean out my classroom today. I’m going back Friday to help distribute locker contents to students. NJ lifted their stay-at-home orders today. Making progress!

sands42 Someone just came into my office and I swear it was your doppelganger. How are y'all doing? Did YH make it back home yet or is he still overseas? What! I’ve never been to TX... wasn’t me  There still are very few flights going out of Iraq. Only 2 last month. It’s so frustrating- we had planning on him being home by now so I am relying heavily on my mom for childcare while I teach swim 😩 Other than that doing great! I’m swamped with people wanting swim lessons.... overwhelmed actually 🥴 Thanks for thinking about me  |

Why do some people think it’s socially acceptable to talk loudly on speakerphone in a hospital lobby? So annoying.
