mwhip Omg I’m dying at “slowest hotel ever”! Just wait till you order her breakfast and it takes 45 min to an hour! Also, I’m sorry for the lack of answers! The worst thing ever is when the drs are stumped by your child’s mystery issues. Are you and YH allowed to switch out at any point? Or can it only be the same parent the whole time?

mwhip, the dance photographer asked me if Cadence knew the position names the other day. I was like "no clue" and she looked at me like i was a horrible mom. Listen lady, even if she did know them she probably won't do them for you during this 10 minute session, let's just be happy the shoes are on the right feet and her lipstick isn't smeared across her face! Spoiler: she doesn't know the positions and by the time we got home the lipstick was smeared across her face.

We are headed to STL for appts. Ophthalmology today (I’m afraid they are going to tell me she needs another eye surgery). Then tomorrow is the Cerebral Palsy specialist and the pediatric dentist. Now I just need to get Neurosurgeon, neurologist, and dermatologist scheduled and I can mark everything off the list for 6 more months 🙄. We see the genetics dr in August.

No idea although they definitely are still leaning toward some kind of injury and this has just built up, and gone unnoticed. Nothing like being asked multiple times how your kid injured herself, to make you feel like an asshole. You're not an asshole. I'm sure it feels like they're judging you, but they know kids injure themselves all the time. When J got bit, they asked me to retell how it happened a thousand times. I thought they were like building a case for neglect or something. I was terrified. Turns out they were asking for insurance sake 🤷♀️

We have the 'green form' at the childrens hospital here. If there is an accident we have to describe what happens and sign off on it. When MH thought it was a great idea to buy B a skateboard my last words I said to him before he took him out was 'you're filling out that green form'. All parents know the green form, it's a bonding discussion.

So they think its because she had a viral infection at some point that settled into the joint, causing swelling. No more antibiotics, just motrin and ice and make sure she keeps moving. No reason to cancel vacation. They are working on release papers and said we should be good to go by noon.

I remember with ours, insurance wanted to know if it happened at school, another person's home, a business, etc., I guess so they would have someone to go after to recoup the cost? :eyeroll: Nope, just at home in her carpeted nursery! #bestmom

Dh's truck has somehow developed a leak around the sunroof, so we dropped that off at the dealership for repair. (Sidenote: we are planning to sell this thing in 3 months, please let this be relatively minor!) DH took B out to lunch for a 'boy dog' day, as my dad would call it I might pull on old clothes and start sanding C's beds while she's watching TV (she has informed me she also wants a nap this afternoon). My parents got up to the cottage safely; while it's weird to be here in the house without them, I am enjoying the break from their terrible dog, lol.

I’ve been feeling out of sorts (mentally) lately and feel like I’m losing my mind (like when I forgot to pick S up from the babysitter last week and was halfway to her appointment before I realized I never got her). So today he told me to go get a massage while I was in STL.
Yes dear, if you insist 😉.

How’s yours handling the move? The dogs do get along, thankfully. Ours spends a lot of time outside here, a) so my parents' house doesn't end up covered in lab hair and b) b/c they have a huge yard on a pond so she has lots to explore. My parents' dog is a terrier so he's a barker, and he's kind of a grouch. He's just kinda unlikable, lol. eta: I think ours is used to moving; she always gets a bit anxious before travel/move--doesn't eat, gets clingy, etc--but she settles in fast and generally as long as she's with us she's happy.

Hey. We spent some time outside this morning since it was not super hot out. We are supposed to get a thunderstorm at some point today but I think it’ll be later, yesterday we didn’t end up getting anything but super bad wind. I am going to make lunch in a minute and then when the girls are done eating I will drop them off at MIL’s house. I have my OB appt later this afternoon. I hope she tells me that I’ve made some progress and that all this cramping and pressure isn’t for nothing. Also, sorry if I sound like a huge complainer I’m really not trying to be.

trtlcrzy you are like 500 weeks pregnant, it is NOT complaining. I hope you've made some progress. Are you all ready for baby to come, can we start saying 'come on baby' yet? we can start to put that out into the universe.

I’m 37 weeks so I will be happy if she comes at any time from this point on.

Thank you ladies for the love for Ms E. I’ve been a bit emotional about it since she’s our last. C thinks I’m crazy but I’m sad to lose my baby to a toddler.
