T is a super soaker. He soaks most everything to the point of leaking in an hour. A workhorse or kissas fitted might get 2 hours.
But he has to get changed before nursing and napping, which is a 2-2.5 hour process with the nap. He's sleeping 3-4+ hours at a time at night
R never had this problem.
He's only 7.5lbs with chicken legs. I can't add much more absorbency.
Is a half flat any more absorbent than a workhorse? I have some p&n I could stuff with half flats if I buy some.
Other ideas?

I think a WH is more absorbent than a half flat. I've been stuffing my P&N's with FSTs and they are holding a lot. This might be too much fluff for your little one though.

Got any small hemp doublets! I feel like they got outside a workhorse pretty early and add one a bit of time. I can lend you some if you want to try!

We went with the Twinkie Tush route and I went with the Little Tush size.
C was a super soaker at night and disposables didn't even work for him. Those did. And they are pretty small for a NB. You might be able to pick some used ones up super cheap. And because C was such a little guy I think I could use the stretchy ones until around 6 months.
I'd start adding wipes or half flats. What about flour sack towels? I think the cheaper ones are smaller than regular flats.

I will give those a try and see if they fit. I totally forgot I had them.
