MIL is watching M today, so I'm worried ill pick up a child who hasn't napped. Fx!
I'm working overtime this week, so I won't have much time during the day. At least I'm just going in 30 minutes early and taking a shorter lunch. I didn't want to mess with the time I leave for the day.

I have a lot of catching up to do around here. It was a fun but incredibly jam packed weekend.

So sleepy this morning, oy...we're heading to the library this morning, then it's supposed to rain most of the afternoon. Looks like an indoor day here.

So tired this morning. I don't know what was up with P— molars? But she was hard to get to bed last night— kept waking up crying until about 10— and then she woke up at 2. I let her come into bed with me, but she kept hanging positions, so at 2:45 I put her back in her crib. She seemed ok. Then less than an hour later she was up and wailing. I gave her Motrin and ended up sleeping on her floor for an hour. I need so much coffee today.

Morning. H ended up in bed with C at some point and K ended up in bed with me probably close to 5 or so. I didn't think H was working today since he said yesterday he would stay home with a sick DS so I wasn't rushing to get up. Then I heard him closing doors loudly and pacing so I got K up to see him dressed for work. Probably for the better because he isn't the best when DS is irrational while being sick. Trying to convince DS to hang out on the couch downstairs so I can work.

dude, RunsforWineandCarbs, dd has been saying the same "I'm afraid of my room, what if there are monsters in there?" I just keep telling her we have an alarm system and they can't get it. Then I send her to bed lol.

Betweenthelines, we are beyond the monsters...now it's just scared. we make sure closet is closed. her bed is literally on the ground and she makes us leave her light on at night. I don't know what else we could possibly do.

I don't know what else we could possibly do. I saw a cute idea on pinterest. Get her a cute little spray bottle and make a "monster spray" or whatever she's afraid of, use water and put some essential oil drops in it (calming lavender). So before she goes to bed you spray a few little sprays around her room with her and it'll keep them away.

Back from vacation. I have lots I need to do but just chilling. I have 2 questions for you: 1. Would you be annoyed? We went out Friday for dinner and left DS with my parents. When we got back at 9 pm my mom was walking outside with him in a diaper and t shirt (and sandals). He had so many bug bites on his legs. I'm really not upset he was still up because he slept late and had a late nap. But this is why we don't let him go to my parents house. The judgement is not all there. 2. Who got the better deal? DH drove 10 hours alone and I took a 1.5 hour flight with the toddler lap child.

We're actually doing the same thing this week - H is driving out on Thursday by himself and B and I are flying out Saturday morning to meet him. Only an hour flight though.

Hello! My parents were in town this weekend which was fun, but no down time so I'm starting the week exhausted. We took A to her first baseball game and she loved it. She keeps asking to go again.

Yeah the bites are what irritated me but I wasn't sure if I was being OTT. I would rather the flight than the drive and I think mh would rather drive. But I thought it was a funny discussion.

flippinchica, i'm kind of meh on it. yes, i'd be annoyed by the bites, i'd say something and probably have bug repellent on hand the next time and instruct them to use it. but otherwise, as long as he was happy, slept thru the night and doesn't seem to be bothered by the bites, then i'd let it go. but like i said, i'd address it and make sure it was taken care of in the future.

flippinchica 1. I'd be annoyed a little with the bug bites too. 2. I love kid-free road trips so I'm going to say your H got the better deal!

redandblue, i am heading to the beach with h. kids are staying with my mom. we are "technically" going for h's bday. but i told him last night we were going for my mental well being. and if i didn't get some kid free, decision free, stress free time, he might need to commit me. (i was only half joking)
