We haven't had a check-in since late June so I figured it was time for one again!
How far along are you? EDD?
How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
Any upcoming appointments or milestones?
Any other word vomit to share?
QoTW: Would doing (semi-) daily threads like we used to at the other place spice things up a little here to where there'd be more traffic and interaction again? I miss y'all and would love to see more posts here!

Thanks for the check in muscari! How far along are you? EDD?33w4d 8/24 How are you feeling physically and emotionally?Pretty good in both areas today. I still have a lot of pelvic pain but I feel like I'm getting used to it? I don't know. I just know I have to be careful when I stand up and also walk in a certain way to decrease the pain. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? My first of what will be weekly NSTs on Wednesday. I also will have weekly check ups with my OB after each NST, so things are starting to get busy. Any other word vomit to share?I'm starting to realize I still have a lot to do and not a lot of time. So I need to get busy! QoTW: Would doing (semi-) daily threads like we used to at the other place spice things up a little here to where there'd be more traffic and interaction again? How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Still nauseous and exhausted. Omg so very tired.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next week is our big appointment
Any other word vomit to share? We decided to tell my parents and my inlaws. H didn't mention that we are still keeping things quiet and his mother was literally telling people at her work. Ugh.

misspatty, I know the loss of symptoms can really f with your PgAL brain but just know it can be perfectly normal at this point. I lost pretty much all my symptoms around 7 1/2 weeks and was convinced it was all over but everything was ok. ETA: Can you call your OB for a quick Doppler check? It may help ease your mind until your next appointment.

Blah blah blah, I'm 17w3d but My second BW state testing results came back abnormal. 1:30 for downs. I'm in shock and want to throw up. My dr is referring me to a genetic counselor to determine whether just to do the more detailed BW test or amino. He tried telling me that still means a 97% chance it doesn't have it. I don't know what to think. I thought we were out of the woods. The first results were great.

Is the the triple (quad?) screen? IIRC nipt is way more accurate with less false positives than the triple screen. I hope you get good news soon.

How far along are you? EDD? 11+5, 1/25/18
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? physically still bloated and still periodic nausea. I really just want to poop but that's rare these days. Emotionally, I was a wreck this morning so called the dr and they got me in for a Doppler appointment today. Immediately heard a good 160 heartbeat! So a lot better now.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Monday is the first tri scan and Tuesday is the next OB appointment.
Any other word vomit to share? I'm freaked out about Monday. For some reason I'm terrified it's going to be bad. I'm taking 3x the dose of Zoloft I took with DS and hadn't realized it was category C. I mean, of all the antidepressants it's considered one of the safest for pregnancy and the doctors have no concerns. But still I'm nervous.
QoTW: Would doing (semi-) daily threads like we used to at the other place spice things up a little here to where there'd be more traffic and interaction again? I miss y'all and would love to see more posts here! yes please! I keep meaning to but then not. Let's do it!

How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I'm tired and grumpy. I keep catching myself sighing. Emotionally I am pretty anxious.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I had 3 sets of betas and had great doubling times. First u/s is tomorrow morning.
Any other word vomit to share? This is the first time I've ever had spotting. I know its normal, but its still a mind fuck. I wish i could fast forward thru 1st tri.

How far along are you? EDD? 16w4d, 23 December. How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically fine, apart from some tiredness and the urge to pee all the time, I feel completely normal. On the one hand, that's great and I feel really lucky but of course it also worries me that something isn't right. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next Monday. After having weekly appointments, it feels really strange not to have seen the OBGYN for 3 weeks! Any other word vomit to share? Also a bit worried about getting my blood test results: I need to know if my injection doses have to be upped and the dr is on bloody holidays. I've left the OBGYN a message as she should also get the results but I always get anxious while waiting for the answer. QoTW: Would doing (semi-) daily threads like we used to at the other place spice things up a little here to where there'd be more traffic and interaction again? I miss y'all and would love to see more posts here! Yes please! I would love more interaction! ldubhawksfan, sending you another ration of hugs and good vibes for good follow up test results.

I know with an amnio you'll get a straight answer. With E, we got bounced to a GC for a CVS, but during the ultrasound before starting the procedure, the markers that got us sent there in the first place were no longer visible. They went over the bloodwork vs. CVS a lot with us before we made a decision on which route to go with at that point. While I was already laying on a table prepped for said CVS none the less. Ask all the questions you need, they will help you process everything and come to the right decision for you and baby. I'm really sorry your dealing with this right now. I'm thinking of you <3

How far along are you? EDD? 8+5, February 16th
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I'm exhausted and nauseated on and off. On the upside, my skin looks all glowy and amazing. Silver lining... Emotionally I'm tired of being nervous. I know it is essentially 32 more weeks of being stressed and worrying and I'm not excited about it. I am impatient to get to the part where my doppler works so I at least have a way to reassure myself when I start to spiral.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have an appointment tomorrow, but I am pretty sure it is just paperwork and such. Then next Friday I'll see my actual doctor and get checked out. I'm hoping for a doppler or ultrasound.
Any other word vomit to share? Not today.
QoTW: Definitely! There are quite a few of us in here, I think we could keep daily threads going.

Most of my symptoms are gone since hitting 2nd tri which is throwing me for a loop. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? Bloodwork and OB next Tuesday Any other word vomit to share? How far along are you? EDD? 7 Weeks 3 days
How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Physically I am mostly ok, I feel like the nausea may be ramping up. I felt like I was going to actually vomit at least twice today, yayyy. Emotionally I am just very guarded. I feel pretty good but I am still just so acutely aware that something could go wrong.
Any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have another US on Monday with the RE
Any other word vomit to share?
QoTW: Would doing (semi-) daily threads like we used to at the other place spice things up a little here to where there'd be more traffic and interaction again? This is my first foray onto PGAL - but I would love to participate more over here if there were threads. I am not the best at starting threads

How far along are you? EDD? 34w 3d, August 23, 2017 How are you doing physically and emotionally? Pretty good! My pelvis hurts when I have sat for too long, and I do feel like I'm starting to slow down because my body is sore, but those are to be expected, and I'm happy that it's happening. Emotionally I feel like it's a roller coaster again. I can be happy one minute and then freaking out about what's left to be done the next. Any upcoming appointments or milestones? See the midwife Thursday. Any other word vomit to share? H has decided to do the heaters himself because the electrician keeps pushing us further and further back, so maybe by the end of this weekend I will have a nursery! QOTW: I would love more threads. Ahh so sorry for sort of disappearing of the board this week! Tis been one of those weeks urgh. flippinchica, hopefully you'll get your energy back soon with 2nd trim and all (though for me that sadly never happened boo heh). Where did you go on vacay? cali, pelvic pain sucks glad you are finding a way to deal with it some better? How did your first NTS go Wednesday?? I'm right there with you with the realization that omgosh so much to do but time is flying by so fast (and I simply don't have the energy to do a lot right now heh). Ohwell it'll work out somehow... right? misspatty, the coming and going of symptoms is suck a mindfuck early on - I hope you were able to make it through this week alright, and good luck with your appointment tomorrow!! justbecause, oops @ your MIL spilling the beans all over! We had the same happen in the past.. so this time we decided not to tell her until well into 2nd trimester lol. We kept quiet quite a long time tbh, didn't announce publicly till 25wks, just our closest and dearest knew earlier (not including MIL... ). Good luck with the big appointment this week! ldubhawksfan, oh no, so sorry to read about your BW results. Only just now read this or I would have offered hugs and comfort sooner! I didn't realize they'd do BW into 2nd trimester for trisomies as well even if you had a good screening before. We did the NT scan&BW which came back high risk for Downs as well, which was a true MF - NIPT luckily was able to give us peace of mind again. I hope you will soon know more - keeping you in my thoughts *hugs* meladorie, no matter how many wonderful appointments we had during, every single time MH&I would sit there with our hearts in our throats waiting for bad news to happen. It wasn't until after our A/S that I stopped feeling that dread PgAL is suck a MF. I'm glad you were able to call and come in when you were feeling things were getting to much for you, and felt reassured after the doppler check. Good luck tomorrow!! *hug* littlecabbage1019, yay for great betas and I hope your first U/S went well! How nice you were able to go in for such an early scan! Waffle, We had regular appointments early on as well and then suddenly I had 8 friggin weeks in between appointments (between the NT scan and our A/S I somehow fell off the radar it seems and I didn't have any check-ups), almost did me in! Luckily they were able to fit me in for an extra quick U/S at 17wks cause I was really slowly loosing it heh. Good luck tomorrow! Also, I hope you were able to get answers regarding the injections! snowyowl, it's rough feeling nervous and anxious all the friggin time. Hopefully you will start feeling more and more reassured as time passes. Did you get to hear babies hr on the doppler or see baby on U/S during your appointment? I hope so! sarahh, would perhaps sleeping with an extra pillow help with the numbness in your leg? sounds really uncomfortable indeed!Hope you get some relief soon. GL with y our OB appointment on Wednesday. nuggetrn, funny how feeling miserable makes us feel better those early weeks huh? Good luck with your U/S tomorrow! elliecat17, ahh I feel soooo sluggish and slow as well these days. So weird. Tho come to think of it, not weird at all I guess I'm so sorry the electrician still hasn't shown, yay for YH tackling things and I hope you will be able to finish the nursery soonest!

muscari How are things going for you? Fluid levels doing ok? Awww so sweet of you to ask, and I'm sorry I'm only just now responding. I've not had any leakage as far as I can tell so that's good. I went in for an extra follow up on Wednesday and was relieved to find out my fluid level hadn't changed. Babygirl also did great on the CTG so I went home feeling reassured. Next appointment is tomorrow, with another U/S to check fluid level and growth (is that what's called a BPP?).

Didn't check in last week but looking at this now- ldubhawksfan I'm so sorry you got this news. Any update on what the next step will be? Sending you hugs. We had our appt on Friday. The detailed US with measurements all looked great. But the counselor said visible things for Down's is only about 50% of the time. So she said we could think of it as 1:60 instead of 1:30. But we opted to do the NIPT test to know with more certainty. She said if that comes back with high risk, it will be within about 90% certainty. We could then decide whether to do the amnio, but at least right now I think both dh and I wouldn't want to take those MC risks to know that extra 10% certainty. If it comes back still abnormal, I think we will move forward with the thought that we are expecting a baby with Down's syndrome, and look into resources. It's still scary, but I'm trying to be optimistic, especially after the US, until there is more reason not to be. Hopefully we will get results back early next week.
