Yay for a Monday with no zoom meetings or school work. Haley is finally feeling better. The rash on her stomach is really faint.
We got to see my parents yesterday. They came down and we hung out on our patio. It's the first time that I have seen them since mid February

I feel so thrown off on what day it is. We spent last week visiting my mom and sister. It was so nice to have extra hands to help keep L entertained while I worked. We came home on Friday and have just been relaxing this weekend. L is going back to daycare next week, so we’re trying to ease him back into a more normal routine as much as we can. I’ll be happy for him to get back to his friends and teachers and happy for me and DH to be able to get more work done without the stress of chasing a toddler. But I will miss spending all day with L!

I had a four day weekend. It was really nice. I decluttered my house Friday. I had house cleaners over on Saturday. I hung out with family Saturday and Monday.
The kids are starting back at daycare today. I used this weekend to do visits with family since we have all been doing are best to social distance. But now that the kids are in daycare, we will minimize any other visits for awhile.
The total Covid19 case count here in Arizona is pretty low, but I definitely wonder what’s going to happen now that AZ is pretty much open everywhere with a few exceptions. I was told that I will be working from home through June.

We met the sweetest little dog yesterday. It's going to be a few days before we find out if we get her. I'm going to be so sad if we don't.
We went to my BILs house for a bbq and had a lot of fun. Its the first time we've seen them in months. The boys are still sleeping, which is unheard of. We wore them out yesterday.

We had a nice weekend at home. Lots of outside time and I didn't open my work laptop once! DS1 and DD both learned to ride their bikes last week so they were racing around the neighborhood all weekend.
I took them out on the paved nature trail less than a mile from our house. DD got too close to the edge and lost her balance. There's not much of a shoulder along the nature trail and tall weeds line the trail. She fell so far in I couldn't see her or the bike from the trail. She wasn't hurt, just scared. She has sensitive skin (seems to go hand in hand with her food allergies) so she broke out in a rash. By the time we got home is was from head to toe. I gave her a bath and some Benadryl to clear things up. Thankfully she didn't land in something like poison ivy. I hope she's not too nervous to try again. She learned her lesson that falling off the trail is not the same as falling into someone's lawn in the neighborhood.

She's a 1 or 2 year old Pomeranian/dachshund mix. She's tiny at 9 lbs. They found her on the side of the road in Texas. She had just had a litter of puppies, but they couldn't find the puppies. She curled up in my lap a few times, happy as could be. She was gentle with the boys and they were great with her. She liked DH. The foster family was so kind and said she doesn't usually warm up to people like she did to us so I'm hopeful. She still has to be spayed and I know she had at least one other meet and greet. They foster family chooses who she goes to. I can't stop thinking about her.

PennyCandy, She sounds adorable! I hope you get her. That breaks my heart that the puppies were unable to be found.

She's not on the rescue's website anymore so I'm betting her foster family decided to keep her. I'm waiting to hear back from the rescue to know for sure. ETA: They took her off the website because she was getting so many applications. We should know in a couple of days.

I keep forgetting to come over here! DS is going to be 22 months on Monday. Is there a sleep regression around this age? He wakes up 1-2x a night upset and has to be rocked some. He's getting 2 canines right now so I know that's bothering him too. Also he is preferring MH to rock him after books at naptime and bedtime. Just in the last few days. He will just cry if I try to rock with him. MH says he doesn't mind doing that part of nap/bedtime so I guess we're not fighting it.

I never follow "wonder weeks" so I don't know about a possible sleep regressions in that regard, but DS3 has been more resistant at bedtime the past couple of weeks. I think it is a developmental leap of some sort. He's more aware that he's going to bed and the other three are still up playing. He wakes up every morning singing, counting, and just talking. I seems he just has a difficult time shutting off his brain right now.

No, I know she had one more meet and greet Thursday. We'll see, but I'm not hopeful. I feel like we would have heard if we were chosen.

I'm picking her up Wednesday. I'm so excited.
I started a new Sunday-Thursday schedule today. Not a fan, but I kind of want DH to see what it's like taking care of both kids on his own. I have the kids morning and evening all the time. I don't think he truly appreciated how difficult it can be.
