Dropped of a caterpillar 🐛 [mention]cagoldi [/mention]. Lo named his caterpillar Quita Moz and E named it Olaf. We are documenting it for his teacher. Our caterpillars just emerged from their chrysalis last night. |

We went on a long bike ride and then ate lunch. M & I are going to pick up my orders at Target and Total Wine. Hopefully MH will load up his truck and drop off stuff at the recycle place. I'm sick of looking at some this stuff.

Hi from work. 🙄 It’s my work weekend and it’s been the most clusterf*ck of a day. We’re having technical difficulties with some patient software and it’s made things way more complicated than it has to be. I’m ready to gooooooo.
Didn’t even get to finish that post... just left. Lunch time.

chrisy01 B wants to go to a Italy to see Pompeii and the leaning tower at Pisa. Talks about it all the time. I mean, I’m all for it someday, but it cracks me up what they zero in on. Glad you’re outta there lahdeedah, hope you get something yummy for lunch.

Uggghhhh. I had some stops to make, but it’s like a regular pre pandemic Saturday here. People everywhere! Guess my errands will wait until the weekday. It really wasn’t essential, but dang I did not expect everybody to be out shopping today. M2 needs new shoes. The pair I bought for him online in the next size up are too big.

Hey. Today has already been awful. I walked into the kitchen to make lunch and stepped into water...which was gushing out of the running washing machine. I stopped it immediately and was able to figure out that the filter cap had been unscrewed...by H during time out yesterday. I made her help us clean up all the water, fx we get the bottom of the island dried out and no warping happens. I’ve decided she’s being so naughty lately and acting out because she wants some 1 on 1 attention from me. So I need to figure something out that we can do together tomorrow after I get home from work. It’s supposed to rain all afternoon so we are stuck inside. This evening some girlfriend and I are doing a Group FaceTime.
My baby cousins (Twins) graduate from high school today. I’m bummed that this is how the end of their school career went but they both seem to be taking it ok. This also makes me feel old.

Ugh my neighbour has a habit of using his deep fryer once every few weeks, apparently tonight he is using it. It always smells, but ever since I’ve been pregnant this smell has been bringing me very close to vomiting. I just want to purify my whole house.

Mh is setting up the tent for some backyard camping. Cadence is very excited and has been packing all day. 🙄
After she falls asleep I'll be coming back inside to sleep in my bed and ac. Mh can sleep out there.

MH reminded me of the time the girls' preschool teacher sexted him. She accidentally sent a message to him about "___ for dinner tonight and maybe afterward S E X!" Obviously meant for her husband. He said she turned red everytime she saw him for at least 6 months afterward. Lol.

MH and I both had insomnia and finished Upload around 4 am. I really liked it. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
So we slept in late and then had a big brunch. We just did a few errands and going home soon. It's rainy and I think I just want to relax the rest of the day.

The China talk brought back a muddled memory of Big Bird in China. Anyone else watch that as a kid? I remember him singing a song with a little girl. It was much less traumatizing than Follow that Bird in which Big Bird gets kidnapped and forced to perform.

I think they always did a toy catalogue at the holidays that we would obsess over. |

flamingo was Service Merchandise the place where you paid for your stuff and then it came out on a conveyer belt by the exit? I used to love to go watch that with my mom. Perhaps that business model could make a comeback right about now.

guster kim22 Yes! I was trying to remember how it worked but I was thinking a conveyer belt was involved. I know you didn't grab your own merchandise like you would at Target, etc

lahdeedah my Gap ordered always take forever even when it’s not a pandemic. They also come in pieces like if I ordered 10 things I get 1 or 2 at a time.
