week/fruit/edd: 14+3, navel orange, 11/8 (but will likely have repeat csection on 11/2)
ftm, etc: STM, pregnancy #5
appointments: I go Friday. Tomorrow marks 4 weeks since my last visit.
team: blue!
milestones: I’m in second tri and definitely starting to feel better. It’s not 100% but better than even 2 weeks ago.
symptoms: I’m still sleepy, some nausea still. But my sciatica is the worst part! I’ve tried heat, ice, stretching, resting, moving- nothing really helps!
rants/raves/vents: I need the warm weather to finally get here!!
gtky: what is your favorite thing to eat right now? With DD I wanted sweets. I ate so many cookies. So many. This time I’m more into fruits and veggies. Right now my big vice is my homemade macaroni salad. I don’t use a lot of mayo and I add penzeys sandwich sprinkle- it’s so good.

week/fruit/edd: 11 weeks; lime; 12/1
ftm, etc: TTM
appointments: I had an appointment on Monday and it went well. Took forever to find the heartbeat and I almost had a panic attack but eventually found baby and heart rate measured 163 so that was a relief.
team: Green
milestones:
symptoms: Heartburn and headaches
rants/raves/vents: I had blood work at my appt and after those results are in, I'll have my records sent over to the birth center. That's my next step on the patient intake process so once a midwife reviews all of that, they'll be able to schedule an appointment for me.
gtky: what is your favorite thing to eat right now? It changes every single day which is super annoying. I've been craving all the sweet stuff but that's pretty typical even when I'm not pregnant.

week/fruit/edd: 13 +3/large macaron/11/15
ftm, etc: ttm
appointments: may 29
team: finding out
milestones: i know it’s early but i’m 99% sure i’ve been feeling baby move
symptoms: headaches! i had another 2 day one sunday into monday. absolutely miserable. exhaustion seems to be letting up.
rants/raves/vents: still waiting on nipt. not sure why but i feel like i need to get those results before we announce to rest of family. this is the longest we’ve waited - it’s not much of an issue with quarantine though. i am feeling about down about this pregnancy though just because this is most likely our last and i just feel like i’m not even pregnant at this point. not sure if that is a third time mom thing or from not being able to see family and friends. if that makes any sense.
gtky: what is your favorite thing to eat right now? slightly melted vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate mix mixed in. kind of like a frosty/frozen hot chocolate. also really cold clementines.

week/fruit/edd: 8+5 / gummy bear/ 12/22 - I will be induced a week early again around 12/15
ftm, etc: stm
appointments: Wed. May 27th at 10+1
team: Find out
milestones: Just waiting to be done with 1st tri. I forgot how miserable I am at the beginning, it probably seems worse because I still have to function/take care of DD and can't just lay around like a bump on a log.
symptoms: nausea, tired, always feeling slightly hungover, its been great.
rants/raves/vents: I'm trying to figure out if my insurance will cover the NIPT test. I'm planning on calling tomorrow to find out so I can talk to my MFM on the 27th. Also I have a questions - My MFM will be in charge/delivering for me, last year I established general care with an OBGYN. I have an appointment with the OB in the next few weeks (telehealth I think) it was originally supposed to be for the yearly check up stuff. Should I keep this appointment or call and cancel it? I know they are going to want to monitor me for my pregnancy but I don't want to switch everything around and I trust my MFM to know how to handle my high risk factors of pregnancy.
gtky: what is your favorite thing to eat right now? The only thing I can eat right now without feeling sick is steak. What I really want to eat all the time is popsicles and ice water.

mrspants I was really surprised to get my EOB the other day and find my insurance covered my NIPT in full. I’ve read in several places that insurance companies are covering the NIPTs in place of the NT scan since many doctor offices aren’t seeing patients as regularly as usual given the virus.

This is what I ended up doing last time too. The OB practice I’m going to uses Myriad so I need to find out how much they cost.
