I would like to know from the STMs what are your LOs favorite toys for 9-12 months old? It's been a while, but if I am remembering correctly, around that age we started using things he had to manipulate more. So like the bucket with the square/circle/triangle/etc holes, big blocks, stacking cups, etc. We also had a set of animal hand puppets that he really liked, and he started getting more interested in stories.

I would like to know from the STMs what are your LOs favorite toys for 9-12 months old? Not a second time mom, but the Vtech sit to stand has become baby crack in my house Anything that she can manipulate now that dexterity is increasing or throw is enjoyable. Untying/opening/taking in and out. I got a set of different textured/size/color balls and put them in a basket. Just taking them out and going after them occupies her for quite awhile. Books with different texture and crinkle are all of a sudden even more interesting too. We have one of those activity things rated for 12+ months, but she likes playing with it now. I'm sure it'll get even better as she can figure it out even more. I'll add pictures below.

I'm also stacking things so she can knock them down, filling things up in the bath tub so she can dump it all out, and letting her play with the wooden spoons and Tupperware in the kitchen since the more noise something makes the better it is.

I would like to know from the STMs what are your LOs favorite toys for 9-12 months old? Lillian loved her "pig house" and we got her some of those play tables, a piano toy, and an alligator xylophone. I think we also got her an airplane car around then, too. She still plays with all of them 2 years later.

Thanks danib sophiegrace and classymrsa! Most of the toys I have are small baby toys which he is getting bored with. I think it's time to get some new ones!

Ok so I went a little nuts on Amazon. I got the stacking cups, textured balls, block shapes that fit into the tub and an "activity cube". I want one of those standing activity tables but I'm going to wait a little bit to pull the trigger on that.

Most of the legs come off so they can play with the toy sitting, then are familiar for when they stand. #enabler

sophiegrace ok so my confession is someone gave me that stuffed toy (2nd hand) when I was pregnant. But my dog decided it was his toy lol. He would not leave it alone! So I cut the battery box out of it and gave it to him 😬
