I just thought I’d ask if anyone has any blogs or YouTube channels that they follow for gardening. I don’t really do flowers, so probably more aimed at vegetable gardens and/or homesteading type stuff. I haven’t found anyone I really love, but if I do I’ll add it here. I know this little sub board isn’t super active.

I really really really love Maritime Gardening on youtube. He's in a very similar climate to me (I'm in 5b, he's 6, not overly sunny place). Raised beds, hugelkultur/permaculture/no till approach. His vegetable garden is huge and he has a full time job plus a family so he makes things easy.

I'm not hugely into youtube, but my cousin has shared a few videos from California Gardening and I find them really useful! There's a great video on how to get the best yield from tomatoes, and how to grow tomato starters. And one on growing potatoes in buckets or bags.

I recently found it myself and joined in. homesteadingfamilies.proboards.com/

I just remembered another one that I primarily watch on IG but I’m pretty certain she also does YouTube videos. Seed to fork is her IG name. She’s in mn and really tries to push the growing boundaries.

Roots and Refuge is good, she has a great video about tomatoes that has been a game changer.
Justin Rhodes is good, I like his stuff from 2018 and 2019's 100 Days of Growing Food. He's gone a little intense for me now. Warning that he has some butchering videos if you aren't into that.

But she is so down to earth. She feels like talking to a friend. And I appreciate that she tries to lay out scientific info in an easy to digest way for the lay person.

She's just all around lovely. I love her garden tours and I've learned a lot about vegetable gardening from her.
