So we've been the second - I haven't been in a building since my last day at the office, but we ride bikes/walk daily and often stop in front of a friends house to chat from afar. Today we discussed becoming "exclusive" and starting to hang out. I noticed a number of you mentioning seeing grandparents and things like that so I'm curious if I am being more cautious or about the same as most. Let's discuss.

We're #3--still going to work (DH-flying, B-speech) or stores (groceries) but not socializing. There's really nowhere to go here yet.
If we were close (physically) to my parents we would definitely be seeing them.
Stuff is starting to open up at home in FL with limitations (retail, restaurants) and I think by the time we move back it will be even moreso. Honestly by then I will be between "Going about things carefully" and "Screw this crap".

We’re close to 1. M has been to the dr for his eye a few times, but the last time was 2 weeks ago, and he’s healed so he’s not going back. We only do grocery delivery, and we play at the house. We wave to the neighbors, but they’re too far away to talk with.

I feel like I'm some/some more. I go to the store and to work mostly. We are going to start seeing our parent's soon. They both live outside of city limits and have a lot of yard space, so we will be good there. We can make the trip without stopping at all. It's the only travel we will be doing this summer. I also am about to start taking steps to proceed on my kitchen makeover, so I will be going to two places doing appt only to get quotes. I wear a mask any time I go to work or the stores.

Mostly at home with neighborhood walks/bike rides.
I only go to the store when needed and am as quick as possible. MH does most of the shopping and honestly he goes more than needed to get out of the house, but he still exercises precautions.
I'm going to start some social distancing walks with a friend who has also been practicing social distancing so it seems pretty safe. May do a socially distant picnic with family next weekend.
State is on lockdown through the end of the month.

MH hasn’t been to the office since March 10 and probably won’t be back for several more months. I last worked in the school building on March 13th. Kids last day of school was the 12. I have gone out 3 times since March 15th and DH has been out 3 times, all to Costco or the grocery store, except for an emergency dentist appointment for DH. We see my parents everyday only because they live next door so it’s over the backyard fences. My 2 year old was telling the dog “you no go in anyone house.” It is very weird not having the crazy schedules we usually have but I feel like I have gotten really close with my new coworkers and several moms of my children’s friends.
I’m generally a rule follower so today is the first time we came to the other house. We made sure to bring everything we need so we do not need to go to stores here and we are only staying until tomorrow. We had pizza delivered to the steps for dinner. The public beaches are closed but since ours is private the association decided to keep it open (I was unsure of that until we got here because they aren’t advertising it). The police sat at the line between us and the public beach but left us alone. Everyone kept their distance and we were able to have our own little volleyball game and DD and I did gymnastics (today should have been state finals for her). Here feels normal and I needed a day of normal. I cry at least twice a day. I can do a few more weeks but not years of this.

Mostly, only going out for essential trips when unable to get grocery delivery. I have seen my parents from across the yard though. But I kind of view that as talking to neighbors when we see them on our walks. I finally found a garden center that will do curbside delivery for flowers since I can't justify going into a store for something I want, not need. ETA: I think there's a level between mostly and some more. I'm not going to stores except when absolutely needed. We are both working from home.

The only store I've gone into is Walgreens. For groceries I do curbside. I just started going to the office, but only on Saturdays when no one is there.
Cadence and I will be going to my mom's for mother's day, but she's been staying at home and I trust that she hasn't broken the "rules".
The most Cadence has done is around the neighborhood on her bike or during walks, but we haven't come into contact with people during those.

I grocery shop once a week. My parents have stopped by and I’ve stopped by there and we stand apart in the yard. I’ve stopped in work twice for supplies but no one is there. We bike or walk in areas that are close enough to do so. C doesn’t play with friends. He’s ridden bikes up and down the street with the neighbors girls a couple of times but they are really good about being six feet apart.
Pete works in Boston 3-4 days a week but drives now. He is quite exposed though since the city is a hot bed and he works with the homeless. They do have proper PPE and a chunk of their staff is working from home.
Because of Pete’s exposure we are pretty strict on the social distancing. I would hate for my parents, a neighbor or a friend to get sick from him being exposed.

I said some. DH and I are both still working our normal hours outside the home. I run to the store, wearing a mask if I want to buy something. We’ve hung out with a couple of friends but not super frequently. I have to go to the doctor on wed so my sister is going to watch the girls, and this is the first time we’ve been together since this all started. My ILs are in the mostly category and only go out if they absolutely have to, so they don’t want to be around us yet since they’re 69 and we are both working.

Ehm not sure. I/we go to the grocery’s 2-3 times a week, alone, without kids. I just do not have the storage space to only go once or less, delivery is booked solid for weeks ahead. I’ve been working from home for the most part, but went in for a bit last week (checked beforehand who would be there to make sure we would be able to keep our distance, it’s a 2 person max.). I/we see mostly my mom, but only outside. My dad once a week or something. I’ve seen my friends once, but again outside. We do ‘bike-by’ to see my in-laws, aunts, sister etc. All outside and at a distance of course. I’ll admit my mom cheats sometimes & gives the kids a hug.
We took the kids to the dunes a few weeks back, we went early and there was no one there. But apparently people where bringing full fledged bbqs later in the day (which is never allowed) & weren’t abiding the distance rules, so they closed them of. I miss it.
All stores/shops are open and you are allowed to have 2 visitors inside per household, so we are more than sticking to our local guidelines.
Schools/daycares are opening up May 11th. Smaller groups, alternating days. So ds was going everyday before this and will now go tue/fri. Dd will go tue/thur.
ETA the kids play outside at a play area behind our house, sometimes a neighbourhood friend is there and they play with him. They see non of their ‘normal Friends’ (outside the ‘bike-by’).

We are a mix. I stay home and haven't been anywhere since I stopped working. We do go for walks and will talk to neighbors from afar. I've been to my sister's houses just to drop stuff on their porches and will chat for a minute outside far away from each other.
MH is still working and he will run to the store if needed but we try and do pickup/delivery as much as possible.

I've been WFH since March 13th (DH already worked at home), right about when everything blew up. I run outside but before sunrise so maintaining distance isn't an issue. I haven't gone into a store since the 16th - DH does all the shopping because he has more flexibility in his schedule. We're not doing any delivery (meals or groceries) because the reports on infection rates of essential workers make us both anxious. We have J here to watch the boys 5 days a week and we can't risk messing that up. I honestly think I'd have to take a leave from work if she wasn't here. My schedule is ridiculous lately.
DH's parents and sister have come by but usually we stand on the porch or in the yard while they stay near their cars. We're still trying to convince his parents to use Zoom or Marco Polo or ANYTHING to stay more connected with the boys. They miss each other so much.
I feel like I'm losing my mind most days but talking to co-workers in Spain was helpful, I guess? They've been FAR more locked down than anyone here but they just seem to accept it. I'm trying to be more Zen knowing that so many places opening prematurely is going to extend this for everyone in the longer term. That thought honestly is the worst. I can handle taking it week by week but the idea that cold and flu season is coming a lot sooner than a vaccine or cure can keep me up at night.

joelies Same here... The idea of having a second (and worse because then we’d really have to stay inside the house because of the fall weather) wave is just not something my mind wants to go to... Week by week is sort of my approach. But hopefully by not going into shops, ikea, garden centres etc., not meeting anybody indoors we can lower the numbers even more.

I haven’t been to work since March 6th. We stay home and try going to the grocery store once every two weeks. Sometimes MH might run to Home Depot or CVS during those two weeks but he wears a mask and gloves. My kids havent been anywhere. We talk to neighbors from a distance and sometimes the kids ride bikes in the street at the same time. No playing in each other’s yards. There’s been so many cases in this area though that it got scary. The grocery store felt like a war zone. I’m hoping this summer we can at least play with neighbors in the yard. I doubt any of the town pools will be open this summer.

C still goes to work. I go in twice a week to get the bills that don’t do electronic delivery and drop off completed work and grab new work. I avoid all people. We get groceries delivered now. The kids haven’t really left the house. They did one walk around the block when no one was around.

MH goes to the office every day and handles the grocery shopping. I'll be going to the office at least twice a week starting tomorrow. H will be going to daycare this week and M will be with my MIL twice a week. Prior to this week, the kids only went on walks and bike rides.

I voted 'some more' but need to change it to 'some.' H is going to work daily. I go to work one day a week, for about an hour. I go to the store once a week (delivery and pick up aren't a thing where I live, too small of a town, although I guess I could drive to do pick up). We get carry out for dinner or lunch probably twice a week. Evie has seen MIL and my mom weekly, but I know they were keeping their circle limited as well.
My mom and step dad are in Eureka Springs this past weekend. She's probably going to be pissed when I tell her that she can't see Evie for 2 weeks, but I'd rather be safe.
We have also had driveway drinks with neighbors a few times, we sit outside, distance between us. And it's the same people we've seen for the last month.

I told mh he could expand to going to his bandmate's place, but only if the dude has been following the rules.
I went to Target yesterday. There were people without masks, including the woman who got behind me in line without observing the 6 feet of space rule. I was annoyed. There are signs everywhere lady, this shit isn't new!

I couldn’t vote since I am on Tapa.
We’re between “some more” and “some.”
We take walks a few times a week and have gone to parks (no playgrounds, just kicking the ball around with our own kids).
As for actual establishments, I have been to the store three times since March 11th, only because I could not find an open spot for delivery or pick-up until the last few days. I dropped groceries at a doorstep for a couple local moms and talked to them through their windows. Tim goes to get the necessities if he can.
As of this weekend, my parents decided to visit. My sister got really sick with a lupus flare and they wanted to come help her. They asked if they could see the kids and I agreed because I know they haven’t been working or gone anywhere in the last six weeks (save for a few grocery store trips and my mom is super careful because my SD has emphysema).
It was nice having them here. The kids were thrilled and my sanity was hanging by a thread before this started so it’s pretty much non-existent now.

I’m also pretty close to being in screw this crap territory.
I know I am very high risk, but I am feeling okay about venturing out if everyone is wearing masks, including me obviously, and doing their best to respect SD.
We are discussed trying a SD play date with Dude’s BFF sometime in the next week or so. Maybe a water gun fight at the park.
