It’s “Ex Ash A 12.”
He said Grimes came up with the X Æ part and he added the A-12 part.

Very, very minor Buddy v Duff drama on Twitter.
A woman tweets to duff that he deserved the win he got his Star Wars cake. He responds with something like “have you watched this season? The wins were not based on which cake was better.” He said this because he lost the overall season.
Ralph, Buddy’s assistant on the show said “being a real good sport about it.”
Duffs response “Aw, that smarts, doesn’t it.”
Ralph’s response “you are straight up saying we didn’t deserve our wins. Considering that I thought we were friends, yeah that does smart a bit.”
Duff is 100% the asshole that I heard he is. That was uncalled for.

Veeeery interesting. I met Buddy and Mauro! They made my sister’s wedding cake. The caterer tied to my sister’s venue had a deal with Buddy long before his show started. It was a fun coincidence. I went up to Hoboken with them and tasted cakes. Everyone was very nice! |

I have a question that is off topic and I apologize for that. Given this board’s knowledge and experience with physical..... enhancements, I thought it might be a good place to ask.
I have very thin hair, though what I do have is healthy. I would like to try maybe some extensions to thicken it for times I’d like to try a fancy braid or cute boho styles. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best hair extension brand? And what’s better; clip in, tape, wefts, halo? I don’t really want to do anything that would require going to a hairdresser.

I'm sad Duff is an asshole. I met him once and he was nice, but it was a cake show appearance, so... *shrug*. Turns out he lived in my hometown and we went to the same high school. (Not at the same time, he graduated four years before my freshman year.) One of his spray paint murals was still up in the school until they renovated it.

IDK, I’m kind of Team Duff on this one. There was more than one cake that we (the 3 of us that were watching) were surprised at Buddy’s wins this season.
But, I also didn’t care for how this season was done as a whole. Last season, there were 3 challenges per episode that they actually had to bake for. This season was a single large scale “bake” that they basically just took out of the freezer, sculpted, & decorated.

The Duff/Buddy feud is so random, but I'm into it.
This seems to be a relevant time for me to discuss my Buddy vs Duff show feels that nobody cares about. I didn't watch last season but this season I found it odd that so little of their cakes were actually made of cake. I know a lot of times there will be some other things to provide structural support but I felt like the cake to wood/styrofoam ratio took away from the impressiveness. I'd rather see smaller cakes that are mostly cake and decorated well. I'm still super impressed at the skill that goes into making them. The blonde girl on Duff's team that makes the sculptures is ridiculously talented.
