I had a friend who flew from Atlanta to here last week and he said his flight had only 9 people on it. They were seated every couple of rows on opposite sides. He said the the airport was a ghost town and super clean. Everywhere he looked people were sanitizing and disinfecting.

tgrimes have you called your dad directly? Is he still capable of somewhat normal phone contact and able to give any reliable report about how he's doing? I know this may sound extreme, but you can also call the police and have them do a wellness check. I talked to him last night. |

OMFG y’all. My mother just sent my sister and me a text saying she’s been in the hospital since the 28th and had a pacemaker put in today. She’s still groggy from surgery so don’t call. WTAF?!?! What the heck?! I hope she’s ok |

I have never been able to make it through that entire movie.   I recently uploaded a pic of a drawing C did that was on our fridge. I realized after it was being help up by a magnet that says Your Mom Goes To College. We talked about showing it to C but I just don't think he would truly appreciate it. |

wow tgrimes! She is unbelievable! Did your sister know? If you feel you need to go then I would fly. My dad works for TSA/Homeland Security and planes are averaging 4% capacity right now so I wouldn't worry about that but I would be concerned about the quarantine requirements. It may not be possible. I hope they are ok but damn am I frustrated for you. So much stuff going on and your shitty boss on top of it. Any idea what recovery from a pacemaker looks like? I'm assuming its pretty rough but maybe its done differently than I think. |

RE: reopening
I don't even know what to think anymore. We are still under a stay at home order through May 8th. The governor said she is hoping we can move into phase 1 of reopening which is opening select parks and beaches, allowing groups up to 10 people vs 5 but with 6ft of space, and curbside pickup at retail stores. She has also asked for childcare centers to provide detailed plans for their re-opening and hopes to open some June 1st. I wouldn't send C until school is out on June 18th but if they are open and can take him he needs to go. We are both done being home together.
I was annoyed on a work call the other day when one of my coworkers said they are going to Maine this weekend to quarantine up there. It's so frustrating that people don't understand that even stopping for gas, the bathroom, or groceries puts people at risk. Maine has a way lower count than us and we are much smaller. I wish people would stay at their CURRENT home and that it was enforced.

She was concerned about how she was going to do her hair. NO ONE GIVES A SHIT WHAT YOUR HAIR LOOKS LIKE MOTHER! Anyway, my dad can help her with that. She can't drive because of her eyes so my dad still does that. I told them both I would go out there and they continue to say no. |
