Same old over here. School for a bit this morning and then I’m going to clean out the hallway closets. I promised the kids a kiwi craft today so that will be our afternoon plan.

I’m getting pretty antsy about doing the work I want done in my house. My new countertops were supposed to be in by this time. Being here all day, all the time is not helping.

Zucchini bread on the agenda here.
Cass had a bad fall on her bike the other day and cut her hand. She was horrified at the scab forming and freaking out about the "brown bumpy skin." Apparently she's never noticed a scab before. I talked her down from the ledge.
Watched Turner and Hooch. Maddie loved it.

guster I want to get a kiwi crate for dds fourth birthday, not sure if you know? But if you do would you get the koala or the kiwi?

Morning it’s kings day over here. The kids had a blast making crowns and with all the yard games. My aunt (who lives 5 doors down) made a full kings day display for the kids, which was the best. I stood in line for over half an hour to pick up the cakes I ordered, but every loved the fact that we got them for them! Dh is making pancakes for dinner for the kids, so all in all it was a good, albeit a bit weird, day  . Pdq |

Morning.
We got a lot of projects done around the house weekend. Then yesterday did a hike in Big Bear.
It was sorta busy but everyone was respecting SD and had masks so it wasn’t too bad.
I’m sure we’ll start seeing things go downhill fast after everyone mobbed our beaches though.
Tim’s SIL works for a community health center that just started doing antibody testing, so he’s in line to get that this morning. Should be interesting to get the results!

Morning. I am currently at the chiropractor. I am so glad this was already scheduled because my pelvis is killing me after working all weekend. I’m going to call and see if my glasses are ready after this and hopefully we can go pick them up. It’s a beautiful sunny day so we will be spending time outside. I wish walking long distances didn’t hurt so much, I would love to go for a long walk this afternoon. Looks like a great day nam2013 |

Kiwi requires help. It’s feels more scientific than artistic. The customer service is great, however, and they will switch the subscription if you want to change it up. |

nam2013 we get koala and kiwi crates. J needs a little help with the kiwi crates but helps N complete the koala ones. So I'd prob go for koala for a 4 year old.

Hello hello - we broke glass in case of emergency and broke out perler beads.. j was thrilled and sat quietly for an hour working in a detailed picture. Then mh found some on the ground and said it's done for now🙄. I texted him that he gets to entertain him then bc he literally does not stop talking. I made him do a peloton kids workout this morning bc he was flopping around.
Otherwise I forget what I need to do for work, but need to prep for a meeting tomorrow.

I remember perler beads tallb. Haven't seen them in stores, I'll have to look online. Tell your H to don't be such a spoilsport  We let the kids "destroy" (within reason) the playroom each day, it just has to be cleaned up before they go to bed. Esp. on a rainy day, I do not see the harm in some mess, and I'm a pretty persnickety housekeeper. |

No perler beads here, but I have some water beads ready for after nap time. It’s going to be hot all week so I think I’ll put them in some big buckets outside.
Last night we did water guns to cool off.

I've been trying to work since I got up this morning but the kids have been jerks today. H has been hit or miss on naps lately and I count on that time to get some work done. Now is not the time to drop your nap kid!

That and some milk or a snack and she's happy (and sometimes it leads to a nap if she's really tired). Just a thought. |

It is 80 degrees here and I am so hot. We ran our errands earlier, ate lunch and have been outside pretty much since then. I’m trying to do some gardening but mostly I’m sweating profusely. I think I’m overdoing it because I’ve had a couple BH so now I’m sitting in the shade.

Hi everyone.
Today was tough trying to work from home and homeschool. I worked almost 8-4 straight with only breaks to do a quick assignment with O. I was so hungry by my 2pm meeting i was shaking so i started eating chips and rice crispy treats like they were going out of style. Half way through i realized my mic was on. 🤦🏻♀️
My work has been hinting that we will have to “prove” that we are actually working full time at home, so i started to try to back type notes from the past 7 weeks. Today though, since i typed it as i went, it ended up being almost a page long. Wish i would have done that from the beginning.
