Weeks/Due Date - 34w2d / June 6
The Good - We have everything ready and set up for whenever baby comes. He continues to grow like crazy (as of today measuring 36w1d and 6lbs3ozs, which is consistent to my previous scans).
The Bad - His head is so far down in my pelvis I'm just in constant pain.
Milestones/Appointments - had ultrasound this morning, next OB is next week.
To Do List - just waiting now.

Weeks/Due Date - 31w 2d/June 27th
The Good - despite nausea, I haven’t been nearly as sick! Baby is is growing good and her room is coming along. But due to nesting my energy is at a high.
The Bad - Pelvic pain and insomnia are kicking my butt. I didn’t see my usual doctor after her growth scan. That dr. said everything looked a-okay and I didn’t need to be seen for several weeks. But then I got a call saying my reg Dr. wanted me in this week, and every week after, and to see a specific different dr in the office (even going so far as to reschedule appointments I already had) but they wouldn’t say why so now I’m nervous.
Milestones/Appointments - NST and regular appointments every week.
To Do List - ugh it’s long. I nest sooooo hard guys! We did get the car seat installed though!

Weeks/Due Date - Babies are 11 days old. The Good - These little loves are such laidback babies. The double snuggles are the best. They are so much easier in personality so far than my first born, it’s weird lol. The Bad - overnight sleep still really sucks. Our SNOO bassinets come today so we will see if it helps tonight! I’m still slowly recovering from the c/s and I am getting so impatient to return to normal. One twin has a clogged tear duct and I know it’s not painful for him but it makes me so sad when he wakes up and his whole eye is crusted over. I hope it clears up quickly with the eye massages. Milestones/Appointments - They have a 2 week growth well check on Friday. Both umbilical cords fell off in the last 2 days which made us happy because it sucks having to fold diapers around the stump at 3am lol. To Do List - need to call and make an appt for a 6 week hip u/s for my baby B because he was breech and it’s just a precautionary measure to make sure they are developing appropriately.

willow, I can't wait to hear how the snoos are! Please report back. They weren't out yet for my other kids, and of course we managed, but I have to say that since this is kid #4 and it's likely I won't have much childcare this summer for the other 3 kids during which I could normally catch up on sleep, I might consider renting one.... Weeks/Due Date -34 weeks tomorrow/June 9 The Good - We're having a heat wave here and it feels like summer. We spent a lot of the weekend in our pool. I feel guilty for having a pool in my backyard right now. I know our normal "May gray and June gloom" will come soon, but we're taking advantage of the weather for now. Also I took my kids to ride bikes Saturday morning near my office, and on the way home I noticed that the local strawberry fields were actually open, so we stopped and picked strawberries and came home and made strawberry shortcake. The weekend felt the most normal to me out of the last 7 weekends, so that was great. Also, my hairdresser (who is also a mom and has been SIP) agreed to meet my family (including my parents) at her closed salon a week from today to give us all haircuts. I know it seems ridiculous, but I'm embarrassingly excited about it. The Bad - Our heat wave has made me SO HOT at this stage of pregnancy. I'm already a person who sweats a lot, so it's been rough Also started swelling a bit more - my normal walk yesterday in my normal running shoes resulted in a big blister. Milestones/Appointments - Next appt at 36 weeks (May 11). I'm guessing I'll get the tdap and group B strep test. To Do List - Work on hospital bag, pick up a few remaining baby items, wash baby clothes. I sorted and washed swaddles and blankets over the weekend.

Weeks/Due Date - 34+3, June 5
The Good - I’m still not too uncomfortable so that’s a plus. I only have 2.5 more weeks of work. Nursery is finished and I washed all our neutral newborn stuff this weekend also.
The Bad - My right hip/pelvis is bothering me again but I really don’t want to go to the chiropractor.
Milestones/Appointments - I have an appointment this Friday. I’m not sure how I got off track but I’ll be 35 weeks. The nurse said they will want me to come in at 36 weeks as well so I tried to get out of the 35 weeks appointment but wasn’t successful. They said my 37 week will be a telexed visit but then I will come in weekly until delivery.
To Do List - Start gathering stuff for my hospital bag, clean out and pack the diaper bag. I want to take all the car seats out of my car and deep clean my car before I install the infant seat. I also am hoping to have the time/energy to deep clean the house after I go off work.

Weeks/Due Date - 31w1d, 6/28
The Good - time feel like it’s moving a little faster now. Only 7 more weeks of work.
The Bad - si/pelvic pain. I saw the chiro this morning and that helped. Breathing and bending over are very hard tasks. I can’t do all the things I want to do because I’m physically unable (ex go for a long walk).
Milestones/Appointments - my appt is next wed. I need to find someone to watch the girls because DH can’t take off work.
To Do List - buy all the things we still need for baby, buy/install the girls’ closet downstairs so I can move all their clothes down there, put the baby’s clothes in the dresser and closet in her room.

Weeks/Due Date - 35 weeks/May 30
The Good - It's almost May! So close.
The Bad - Hip pain and reflux are so bad right now. I've had to bump up to the max Nexium dose this week so I'm not miserable. I'm not sure what to do about my hip pain. I had found a chiropractor that specializes in maternity care that's within walking distance from my work back in the fall and had planned on seeing her to help with random aches like this, but that's obviously out right now.
Milestones/Appointments - I'm at weekly appointments now. My doctor checked my cervix when she did my GBS test yesterday and told me I had a nice pelvis, so that's good to know. I haven't really made any progress and will probably decline any checks until the end of May because it was very uncomfortable.
To Do List - DH and I should probably pack the hospital bag in the next week or so. There's a few minor things that need to be done in the nursery - put sheets on the crib, etc.
I'm getting nervous about who will watch our kids while we're in the hospital. My parents watched DD when DS was born, but they have been going about their normal lives for the last month or so, so I'm not comfortable sending my kids over there. DH said his brother would watch them, but they live an hour away and have 4 kids. I'd hate to add 2 more while they're all cooped up at home. I'm thinking that's what we'll end up doing though because I feel more comfortable with that option over my parents. Then we just get to live with the fallout from that decision...

sdlaura well it’s probably too early to definitively call it a success but the first night went well! The babies only woke for their scheduled every 3 hour feedings, so that’s awesome! Here’s hoping it continues!

txaggie08 your BIL will probably welcome the distraction, new kids for his to play with. If you talked to your parents about quarantining for the 2-3 weeks before your due date do you think they would?

If you talked to your parents about quarantining for the 2-3 weeks before your due date do you think they would? Nope. My mom is pretty sure that she's an essential in-person worker, even though everything she does could be done remotely. She's even worked remotely before, so it's not like the technology would be difficult for her. I'm not sure what my dad's been doing since he's semi-retired, but they're in the same house so it's moot. They voted for Trump if that helps explain anything about their actions. You're right about new people for my nephews and niece to play with. I didn't even think about that aspect!

Weeks/Due Date - 29w2d/July 12th
The Good - I made a registry a long time ago because my coworkers wanted to have a little shower for me, but I won't be back at work until after mat leave now so I have been slowly purchasing my own necessities from my registry. I'm starting to feel just a little prepared! Not baby related; I'm loving having all this time off with DS. Sure he's challenging at times (he's 4yo), but I feel like this quarantine stuff came at a good time (if that's even possible, lol) because he's getting some great one on one time before baby comes!
The Bad - just your standard uncomfortable end of pregnancy stuff. Heartburn every night, pelvic/hip pain, peeing what feels like ALL THE TIME.
Milestones/Appointments - telemed appt this upcoming Monday. I'm interested how that will go because I've never done a telemed appt before and I don't have any of the necessities at my house... no scale, no blood pressure cuff. I'm not sure what new info they're going to get from me. 🤷
To Do List - wash & put away baby clothes. Otherwise nursery is ready!

Ever since I got off work at 9:30 I have been having tons of BH. My ute needs to settle down so I can go to sleep, it’s currently 12:45.

Weeks/Due Date - 31w1d; June 30
The Good - Still holding on with no transfusions needed for baby yet, which my MFM thinks is AMAZING considering what we expected by now. Had a growth scan today - he's measuring a week or so ahead, and is estimated around 4 lbs! And apparently he has LOTS of hair
The Bad - heartburn, the weekly anxiety ebbs for a few days after each appointment and then spikes the day before my next one since I don't know what will happen. Stubbornly I have refused to pack my hospital bag until I feel actually prepared to deliver.
Milestones/Appointments - weekly appointments and baby passed BPP with flying colors today!
To Do List - everything? I need to get the carseat from my coworker, the bassinet from my sister, and H has to clean out the crap from what will be the nursery.

Remember how I said the BH stopped? Well that was a lie. Basically once I got up and moving today they started up again. Anytime I’m walking/standing I get one and I think I’ve gotten a couple of actual contractions. I guess I should call the after hours line to see if they want me to go in for monitoring. This is new to me, never had anything like this happen last time.

fikafairy I’m so excited for you that you’ve made it this far!! If god forbid something really bad happened now in terms of transfusions or whatever, you could probably just deliver and baby would be ok, right? Not that you want that to happen, but given your history I imagine the fact that you’ve made it so far must be really reassuring?

trtlcrzy I had a day like that at 35weeks and was completely freaked out. It didn’t stop as long as I was moving. So I spent a whole afternoon and evening laying down. Then, after continuing overnight, they finally stopped the next morning. I hope that’s what happens for you!

The on call nurse had me go in to be checked out. Baby looked great on the monitor, but the midwife said my uterus was irritable. She did a pelvic exam, said there was some different discharge so she sent off a sample to be tested. Then checked my cervix and it is still closed. Since everything looked good on the monitor she let me go home and she will let me know the results of the lab work whenever they’re done. Oh, I also did a urine sample and that was negative for anything. So I’m hoping that resting will get this thing to calm down.
ETA: just got the results from the swab and it was all negative. Weird.

Not that you want that to happen, but given your history I imagine the fact that you’ve made it so far must be really reassuring? yes, every week that I get closer to 34 weeks is closer to just taking him out and transfusing on the outside! It's basically a massive balancing act right now, because he will have issues with jaundice (comes from breaking down red blood cells even if the anemia isn't too bad) and the bigger he gets, basically he's a bigger "target" for the antibodies so sometimes things happen quickly the last couple weeks. But basically, the infusions I've been getting seem to be working, so as long as the scans continue to look okay I will keep getting them up until 36 weeks and then deliver at 37 MAYBE 38 if things look awesome. We are already 4+ weeks past where we lost DD, and after 32 weeks MFM basically said he can come out if needed.

DH is gone back offshore for the next 3 weeks so I'm on my own. Just gotta make sure to keep this baby in until then. I've been feeling off the last few days, low appetite, extra tired, even more uncomfortable than usual, and even vomited this morning. I'm really hoping that's not an indication of anything and just another way this pregnancy has been more difficult than my previous. On the plus side, we just got permission to add a second household to our isolation bubble, and MIL immediately asked to take the boys for a few days. So I get to spend the next few days with my feet up and just relax. Hopefully I'll get some energy back after a few days of quiet.

Weeks/Due Date - 33+6/June 13
The Good - still truckin along.
The Bad - getting more uncomfortable- my low back, hips, etc. feeling very lazy, I don’t know if it’s the whole SIP or pregnancy or both but I’m feeling very blah. I did do some yoga yesterday and that helped so hopefully I’ll get some more of that in my life.
Milestones/Appointments - phone appt May 6, u/s may 20
To Do List - right now just schoolwork with my outside kid. I let us get very behind this week 😬

wasabi I'm with you on the "blah" feeling, and I also let DS get really behind on schoolwork this week. It hasn't helped that my H swears every night when he gets home he will help get him caught up since I'm still working all day, and then by the time he arrives home at like 7:15, it's dinner and basically bedtime and nothing gets done.

wasabi and fikafairy , we don't get all the school work done every week. It's just not possible with DH's and my jobs busier than normal and 3 kids at home. Plus my older ones (2nd grade and kindergarten) are too young to do much without a lot of parent help. I try to prioritize the assignments I think are most important, which mostly excludes stuff on apps, and have let the teachers know we're doing the best we can.

sdlaura, DS is in 1st grade and it's just me all day long with him, and you're right about the inability to access without support/help. It doesn't all get "done" the way they want either - honestly if he makes an attempt at it, I check it off as done in the google classroom and call it a day. I don't even come close to doing everything on the calendar, and I have 100% been ignoring every single specials teacher's "assignments" except speech. It's just too much!
