We just got an email from school giving us the assigned days, group & teacher ds will have. We won the lottery, he’s with all his friends and with his old teacher. When we told him the news about the teacher returning, he cried big happy tears (cue mom too), it was beyond adorable.

Hi friends. I worked this morning and it was pretty busy. Last night before I went to bed I told DH that I was opening up the window to cool off our room and asked him to close it when he came to bed....except he never came to bed so I woke up at 2:30am and it was like 40 degrees in my room. I got up, shut the window and tried to go back to sleep. It did not work because my tummy started grumbling so I ate something and then tossed and turned until I finally fell asleep at 4ish. When my alarm went off at 4:45 I was not happy about getting up. But it’s alright now. We are headed to the car dealership now to buy a van! Happy birthday guster! |

Not chrisy but I saw an article the other day about that. It’s possible they’d open up with a smaller crowd his year but also possible they’d stay closed until next year. It’s something shocking that It could be closed for the rest of the year. Not like, they shouldn’t, but just wow. Meanwhile, my little league sent out an email saying based off the press conference yesterday they have set a tentative start date for May 15. 🤯🤯 So safer at home and less than 10 people in groups gives them the green light to play ball?? I cannot with these idiots. I’m asking for my refund. I've seen stuff in FL news that one idea is to reopen Disney in phases, with FL residents first, then US visitors, then international last. Not sure if that is just speculation or based in fact, or wishful thinking by FL residents, ha. The gov. has asked theme park execs to come up with ideas for *how* to reopen parks when it's appropriate to do so. re: t-ball, that's a bit screwy. I am definitely team start opening some things where possible, but that seems unnecessary. Up here practice didn't start til April and goes thru mid-June. I was waffling about signing B up, then everything blew up and we're SAH thru 6/10 so the decision was made for me. |

We stayed up until 1 playing games online with 2 other couples. I spent until 9 then DH went back to bed until 11:30. It ended up being a really nice day but we didn’t make it to the beach because I didn’t want to stay over there and we wouldn’t have had time to get home before curfew. I went to my regular grocery store for the first time. They had many things but were out of weird stuff like cranberry juice, pudding mix, and pancake mix. Most of the cashiers there are old ladies but today it was mostly young high school and college kids. I hope the old ladies are just staying safe at home and are alright. My sister dropped off flying saucers from the ice cream store so tonight maybe we will do a movie and eat those. My liver needs a break after the last 2 nights.

I realized my kids have never seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so we need to put that on the watch list. Groundhogs Day is on Netlfix and it seems appropriate now. Help! My husband wants me to watch The Irishmen! It's like 27 hours long! My kids love Charlie and the chocolate factory! Or wait, Willy Wonka? They like the 70s one. They've not seen the johnny depp one. Definitely mean the 70s one. Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka was a thing of nightmares. Even the cute Good Doctor kid couldn't save it. |

Got Cadence a slip n slide. Mh went out to play with her and ended up cutting his foot open and getting a really nasty abrasion on his knee as he hit the ground.
Then she started crying because she didn't have anyone to play with. Sry kid, mama doesn't slip n slide.
Just some good ole family fun over here. 🤦
When the pizza gets here we'll watch Coraline. I ended up just doing the free trial of Starz on my Hulu account.

Thank you so much, everyone. It was a really nice day. We were outside for most of it and while
I’d always rather be productive, I took a step back and just sat and watched the kids play while talking with mh.
We had a seafood dinner and a salty lemon pie for dessert.
I’m going in for another slice after we put the kids to bed.

Sounds like a nice day, guster ! Enjoy Ozark! We just started season 2 this week. We had pizza and brownies and ended up watching Robin Hood (the animated version) with the kids. My first choice was Homeward Bound, but it's not hitting Disney+ til 5/1. Next time...! |

flamingo I never got into Homeward Bound. I prefer the original, The Incredible Journey. No talking animals, just a narrator.

We are home with our new van! But in other not great news, my mom called me on the way there and I could tell immediately by her voice that she was drinking. She was released last Sunday so she didn’t even make it a week. My sister will let the attorney know and then we go from there I guess.

I’m so glad we didn’t tell the kids about our Disney trip. It’s not until November but I doubt it will happen. I think I can book my dining this week if they are still allowing that to happen. I will just be happy if my beach opens this summer.

Yes, we are supposed to leave on Halloween for a week because NJ schools are closed that week and we would have gotten to see Halloween and Christmas on the same trip. I didn’t tell the kids before this Corona situation because the airlines jack up airfare big time that week so I wanted to make sure I got that figured out first. Currently, United Airlines would like me to pay $6,550. |

I feel like I’m in the epicenter of the virus over here. We’ve lost a colleague at my school. My friend just lost a grandparent. My uncle lost his parent. Lots of students and faculty members at my school are losing family members. It’s a lot of sad news here still. I can’t imagine reopening any time soon.
