Hi. I love having you ladies from all around so I can here some stories of optimism. I feel like I’m the downer because things are so bad in my area. We have a friend who lost both his parents 3 days apart this week. We also had a tornado touch down less than a mile from our shore house on Tuesday. My BIL lost part of his roof but was still kind enough to go check on our place for us. We really need to go down and check on things though with our camera down.

I’m so sorry for your friends and that you have something else to deal with on top of everything else. I don’t feel like you are a downer. I’m sorry it’s so bad in your area. Do what you have to do to keep your family safe. Let us know if there is anything we can do. |

My area is horrible. I work in a hospital with the most COVID patients in our state. I get all the emails. All the news stories. It's a whole other world being somewhere it's really bad.. |

kim22 I'm so sorry for your friends. This is terrifying. I wish so much that we lived in an area it wasn't so bad. I just keep thinking about how the hell they are ever going to open things up again, and if I will ever feel comfortable sending my kids out into the world without a vaccine.

My kitchen is so clean. I want to order in so we don't have to cook in it lol. A has started the boys on minecraft. M has been begging so we are giving it a shot. We went mushroom hunting so we'll fry them and have burgers and fries with it.

wineallthetime my friend from college's grandpa died most likely at your hospital, he was in a nursing home nearby, so basically a sitting duck😢. In your field you get a lot more exposure and information than the rest of us. I really don't see how we can get a coordinated plan to get testing and supplies when we are failing at such a monumental federal level. Our state announced a 3 part plan to reopen, notably missing was shools..I guess that happens in stage 4?

Our governor just announced he will end the SIP order, but turned it into a “safer at home” order. I don’t see how that is a lot different, but he is allowing most businesses (only retail really) to open at half capacity excluding close contact business like salons, bars, theaters. Restaurants have to continue to go and curbside only and no gatherings larger than 10 people. He encourages people to stay home, especially high risk populations. Our numbers are still going up. Today we had our 2nd highest number of new cases. Cool.
