Well, I didn’t have to wait very long! Baby Hangry arrived yesterday morning! Both of us are healthy and we had a good first night. He’s still drowsy so I have soaked it in Does anyone want full birth stories? There wasn’t anything too exciting in this birth, but I know some people just like to read them anyway.

sdlaura the snugamonkey is the one we borrowed and damaged and I did love it for DS. I can’t find that style anymore but I do see the puppy one. It seems to be the most popular one from what I have read too!

aries I completely understand the painful hips and lack of sleep. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to take something to help me sleep soon because I'm so tired all the time from just laying in bed. I don't remember my hips hurting this much all the time with my other two. Also, I realized this morning that other than the crib and car seat, we don't have a place to put baby. We've been offered a swing from a friend, but she's 3 hours away and I don't know when we'd be able to meet up to get it from her.

It seems to be the most popular one from what I have read too! I have one of those style from DD1 and the only thing I don’t like about it is the huge footprint. An instagrammer I follow has the graco glider one and that looks nice. Honestly though, if I had to buy a new one, I’d probably just get a travel swing because they’re small.

Weeks/Due Date - 32 weeks
The Good - The end is near.
The Bad - The heartburn is so bad. Also, all the checking blood sugar and blood pressures is getting annoying. I get pregnant and my body just does weird stuff.
Milestones/Appointments - I scheduled my c-section for June 5th. I will be 38+2. That will be an insane week. DD will be 3 on that Monday and brother could be born that Friday. I’m still hoping I go into labor on my own. I just can’t shake wanting a vaginal birth. 😕 I’m also going to ask my OB about drinking red raspberry leaf tea.
To Do List - Start arranging furniture in our room to make room for the bassinet. Look in the storage unit to locate necessary baby items to see what we still need.

txaggie08 that was us too haha thinking we had everything we needed and then we found the old baby swing in storage (why we kept it I don’t know), we realized we needed somewhere to put the baby! Hence the scramble to find something. I’ve been checking buy buy baby, amazon, best buy, Walmart and finally found a graco one on sale yesterday at babies r us. I feel like I’m still forgetting something for the baby but as of now I feel we are covered lol. I definitely don’t remember my hips and pelvis hurting this bad last time either. No sleep is the worst, always feeling like a zombie trying to function at 100%. I’m still working (at home) and just wish I could nap. I forget are you still working?

Weeks/Due Date - 32+6/June 13
The Good - still feeling mostly good
The Bad - had a f/u u/s the other day to check my placenta. It’s moved some but still not far enough away from my cervix. I’ll have another check in 4 weeks. I’m a little frustrated just because I had convinced myself it would be fine at this appt. and freaking out a bit because I really, really don’t want a cs. I know it’s not the end of the world and many women love them, it’s just not what I want for myself (I feel like a whiny baby lol), but it’s just disheartening not feeling like I have control over this thing that’s pretty important to me. I’m not giving up hope because I know I still have time for it to move but I’m taking a minute to be dramatic about it, ha.
Milestones/Appointments - next appt will be over the phone in a couple weeks, then u/s on 5/20
To Do List - feeling pretty ready. I’ve been trying to get together/make a list of what to bring to the hospital. I ordered some nursing gowns and a robe, and I need a few nursing bras but I can’t decide which ones.

I'm attempting to work - thankfully mostly at home. It's really hard to stay focused when I just want to sit on the couch all day... DH is home working too and likes to go on walks throughout the day to get out. They're getting somewhat painful if it's over 15 minutes, which is annoying. My BH are taking my breath away, which they hadn't in the past. I get checked at my next appointment on Monday and I'm interested to see if they have been doing anything productive or not.

wasabi I hope you get good results at your next US. Especially with everything going on right now, it's frustrating to not have control over something that you think you should!

wasabi I've always worried about that with each pregnancy too - either placenta previa or a breech baby or something else that would cause me to have to have a C-section. ITA that I have nothing against C-sections, and I understand they work great for many women, but I've just had such quick/easy experiences and recoveries with vaginal births. Sending you good thoughts that it moves!

She would, but I’m really against induction. I was induced with DD and labored for 2 days and still needed a c-section due to fetal distress. Actually this birth is my worst case scenario to be honest.

And holy leg cramps! I had them here and there with DD, but this time I’m hobbling around.

And holy leg cramps! I had them here and there with DD, but this time I’m hobbling around. My doctor suggested I take a magnesium supplement and I haven’t had a single leg cramp since I started taking it. Check with your OB to see if that’s ok, or I’ve heard of people using magnesium lotion too.

She will but it needs to happen before 38+2. So I guess I really only have 2 days to go into labor because I do want him to be full term. I feel like I sound totally crazy with my “demands.” 🤦🏽♀️ Sorry!

We all have wants and needs for our labors and it’s hard when we can’t have it that way. I hope everything goes well and as close to what you would like as possible. ETA: that goes for you too wasabi

So I just did this. It took me way too long, I legit cut my knuckles, and cursed up a storm. But they fit. I could not make it work for DS1 to stay in his booster no matter how hard I tried, so I had to reharness his seat (which took so much longer than it should have because my brain no longer works and I kept trying to do it backwards).

Great job danib! We have never removed or modified the 3-across seats from DH’s car in the last 2+ years because it’s such a PITA! I also installed them all while super pregnant with DS2 and there were tears

We bought our van yesterday! My girls love it and it’s a nice ride. We got the Chrysler Pacifica. I’m still getting used to the different features and whatnot.
I hope that those of you who also want/need to upgrade your vehicles are able to get something sooner rather than later.
I worked this weekend and my pelvis is killing me. I’m very glad I have a chiro appt tomorrow morning.
