Joe is doing a town hall on cnn. He’s doing well I'm recording it to watch later but I'm perusing Twitter in the meantime and I'm reading so many good things about his performance, thank goodness.

So I can’t decide which is better/which option to take. Should I go ahead and request an absentee ballot or vote on Election Day? I have been doing a lot more absentee lately but now with the Usps being the way it is and the fear of ballots not being accepted I’m not so sure. There was an article here that Ohio threw out 1 out of every 100 absentee ballots for this past primary. So what will you be doing? Ohio also offers in person early voting, which I think my husband and I are going to do. I believe it starts Oct. 6th, which is also when the absentee ballots get mailed out. My thought was in person early voting would be quicker than on election day (and would allow us to vote without the kids, as we could trade off on a Saturday vs me trying to wrangle all 3 and my husband going after work on election day). I also thought it would lead to less chance of error on my part with trying to mail in my ballot. But now I need to know if I need to worry about them actually being able not count early votes 😳

I plan to early vote in person which I did in 2016 and in the primary and run off this year. I try to go in the middle of the day on a weekday for less crowds. Most of the 45 Supporters i know early vote and the occupant will want those votes to count.

I would have liked Woody Harrelson. I thought he was good at Biden.

I’m early voting tomorrow! Well, later today at this point. Oddly enough I’m still researching and undecided about ... school board elections. There’s just not enough info on my candidates and it’s a bit of a heated election. Everything else I’ve researched and feel good about my choices.

WOW It's like waiting to get on Space Mountain, only more patriotic. I'm going to wait a week or two, then find a clear day on my schedule to take a personal day and go vote.

Go Fairfax! Wow that is amazing. On a somber note, I haven’t kept up with national numbers, but I didn’t realize we were so close to 200K deaths in the IS. 😥

I was just interviewed by the NYT re: early voting. She’d love to speak to someone in Virginia who voted today. I can pass along her number.

I’m voting by mail early. You can track your ballot here, so if there’s a problem, there’s time for a plan B.
I’m not going to not use a well-established system because Trump tried to scare people out of it. Fuck him.

Cause if everyone goes to the polls on election day, that will be a shit show covid super spreading event. Which seems to be what trump wants.

Oh man. That is wonderful to see. I received my absentee ballot yesterday. I’m planning to use a drop box (thank you Gov. Northam), but I’ll be waiting until the local government center opens theirs in October. I have my ballot stored in a v. safe place so it doesn’t get lost in our move.
