I'm not sure if it's been posted but there are very cute onesies, toddler and little kids shirts now in the Biden store. They sent me a discount code due to the delays in receiving my 8/11 order, so I ordered a shirt for both of my girls. How did you decide what size? I can’t figure it out. On mobile it doesn’t show me a size other than women / unisex I did toddler for both. One in a 2 and the other a 5

Same. Even that worries me because nothing is safe, but it seems like the best option. Fwiw, scientists have said masked, distanced in-person voting is probably quite safe We had a bond ballot late august. I voted in person and was literally the only one there, (like at 9 am an hour after they opened I was the first person) I thanked the workers who were all very distanced and they thanked me for giving them something to do besides sit in corners of an elementary school gym and try to talk to each other. They were all masked as were C & me, booths were distanced in the middle of the gym.
the privacy folders and pens give a moment but some hand sanitizer takes care of that.

I am voting in-person because our precinct is 2 minutes away and never crowded. I don't trust mailing anything and it is easier for me to run over and do it in person than try to haul my kids into the elections office and drop off a ballot.
Plus, for the primaries my mail-in ballot arrived ON election day at like 3pm and I was home sick and couldn't make it to the elections office to drop it off because MH was at work all day/night. I was PISSED. Even though I knew Joe was winning the primary anyway.

I incorporated a Matt Santos quote in my letters for vote forward today: "The best way to preserve our democracy is to take part in it" It brought me joy.

Also I just donated to Jaime Harrison, Amy McGrath and John Hickenlooper. Feels necessary.

Our ballot system has been in place for a long time. They mail it to you and you drop it off. There is even a website that tracks it for you at each step. I plan to drop off as soon as we get them.

I have said this repeatedly and I will continue (I know it could be crazy) but I intend to vote in-person on election day. The reasoning is two-fold:
1) I think Biden needs to show as many votes cast on election day. It will help avoid T showing a huge lead before absentee ballots are counted. I fear giving him any false sense of victory on election day could be very very dangerous. 2) I fear that somehow T will argue (and win) that no ballots cast prior to election day can count. This includes mail-in, dropped off, early voting at election offices. He has proven over and over again that no one will stop him and has stacked the courts so heavily that I fear he could win challenges throughout the states. I need to be absolutely sure my vote counts.
I will take every possible precaution possible while voting in-person but, for me, this is the only way I can do it. I intend to take both election day and the day off as vacation days. One to ensure nothing gets in my way, and one to deal with my feelings - whatever they end up being.

I'll be voting in person. I plan on going the first weekday of early voting, hopefully it won't be as crowded.

I had requested an absentee ballot in panic about a month ago. Do I have the option of voting in person still, or do I have to do absentee now? I feel like what we know about the virus even from a month ago makes me feel more comfortable voting in person. But I know I have the option of returning my absentee ballot to the registrar or there are going to be special ballot drop boxes, so I have not completely decided yet. I feel like at least in my area screwy things are not likely to happen (I am telling myself).

For those wanting to donate to flippable senate seats, I read that MJ Hegar is only 4pts behind Cornyn here in Texas. I just threw a ton of money her way instead of buying the Frye boots I had my eye on 😭😂
Also, I made a TikTok video that kind of went viral. Shows trumps signs and then my house, with the song “welcome to the red kingdom”. My 4yo keeps all of a sudden busting out (in a super deep voice) “welcome to the red kingdommmmmmmm” and it’s the best thing ever. Lol
(ETA: my yard is full of BLM, Biden, Hegar, Hate has no home here, etc flags and signs. Wanted to clarify because it almost made it sound like I had Trump signs in MY yard. Definitely not. Shudder. Lol)

I always vote ON Election Day. I love it. But I was going to vote early this go round because I was worried after I think Kayleigh said they would insist on results on Nov 3, and early votes would be tabulated before hand and same day votes might not be. I need to research.

Your state also has a system in place for signature mismatching that would make me confident in using a drop off or mail in ballot. I don't trust random ballot counters to decide whether my signature matches and, to my knowledge, my state doesn't have a system in place for notifying voters of a possible ballot rejection (and we don't start counting until election day, so it may be moot anyway)

I always do mail in, but generally drop it off at our local fire dept Where we could vote with my DD on Election Day so she can experience it and get a sticker. Now I think our county went to all mail in ballots, so I’m deciding whether to drop it off in person on Nov 3 or ahead of time.

I need to research. Just as something to keep in mind, T's campaign is suing states so that they can't count early votes/absentee ballots before election day. And they are winning. They don't want to allow it even if the states do not release the results of those ballots prior to the close of election day. ETA: Someone correct me if I am wrong here. I know I saw articles on it but now can't find the articles to back this up. I am fairly certain I didn't dream it... Edit again: Here is an article about it in NJ. I swear I saw the same thing for PA and IA. www.politico.com/states/new-jersey/story/2020/09/16/trump-campaign-seeks-halt-early-vote-counting-while-lawsuit-against-new-jersey-is-decided-1317146

This is all stressing me out. We have no reason absentee voting here and I've done it the past 2 elections. We get our ballots mailed to us then drop off at the clerk's office. I never second guessed it but now I worry about what type of shit this administration might pull. MI is trying to pass legislation to allow them to start counting prior to election day but are they just going to get sued now? Ugh.

I will be voting in person on election day. I got an absentee application in the mail a few weeks ago, but I don't trust T and cronies, so I will show up with all three kids in tow.

Az vote by mail has been operating reasonably well for 30 years. Like 80% of voters used it last election. In the last 11 years there has been 23 fraudulent issues of some kind. Thats not even 2 a year. Interesting tidbit when i forgot to sign the outside of my ballot envelope, my postal worker lady gave it back to me to check and sign so it wouldnt be rejected. We can track our vote was received but ive never done it. If you see it wasn't received and processed on election day you can go vote a provisional ballot and they'll check that 2 ballots were not received from you. Im voting by mail like i always have but am mailing it back earlier than usual. And double ck postage (its supposed to be pre stamped) Im also driving my sons ballot up to him at university when it comes in the mail. Cause he didnt change his address in this mess(my house is still his permanent address, but you can submit a change of address for just 1 election). He doesnt want to risk it.

I swear I saw a trump sign on my street a couple weeks ago and it's no longer there. I am seeing signs for the R senate candidate but they don't have trump signs in their yards. Fx that's good news.
