We're out of milk so I had to use baileys in my coffee this morning...

Morning!

Our power finally came back on around midnight. 10 hours...sheesh!

This morning we are streaming a live safari from a game preserve in S. Africa that B's school set up. The kids can email questions in that are answered on the spot by the hosts.

I need to catch up today on all the things we couldn't do yesterday due to not having power...so laundry and vacuuming. I'd also like to make banana bread.

Today is H's last day home so I think I'll run to the store this morning and maybe Target for Easter stuff. I have some stuff in my Target cart for pick up, just need to show it to H and submit the order. Then figure out how to sneak up there so E doesn't want to look in my bags when I get home!

I also need to make banana bread. I slept horribly so I'm hoping I can get a nap in this afternoon.

Morning! It's another rainy day here so I feel far colder than I should and the boys are running around like lunatics. It's going to be a long one...

Colin is disappointed about not having assignments next week...? I told him not to worry, we can keep him busy! I'm sure he'll watch old Flipgrids repeat as well.

I'm so excited for the long weekend!! We don't have much planned obviously, I'm just over working from home and dealing with a few of the clients I have right now. A break will be nice.

Morning. In anticipation of a very busy outdoor weekend we took the kids to the dune lake again this morning. The kids made easter drawings for my mom. I hade made a grocery delivery order, but apparently the bechamel and ham where out. Since I wanted to make lasagna for tonight I needed to run out to the grocery store to get it 🤦🏼‍♀️. Luckily they had it, so I made three lasagnes and 5 batches of pasta sauce for the kids .

We have to go sign everything for our taxes today. We’ll take turns while M stays in the car. We’ll pick up lunch after and I have to do some things around the house today. I never made brownies yesterday, so that’s on deck.

Dude has been really in to baking with me lately, so I signed him up for a kid’s cooking club membership that sends a box each month.

Hoping he likes that.

He’s interested in it for the moment and if he’s going to be hanging around for several more months we might as well make the most of it.

Morning. It’s much colder today than it has been so we will likely be staying inside most of the day. We are currently watching Thumbellina. I haven’t seen this in forever and forgot so many things since the last time I watched it. The girls seem to really like it. I need to put away laundry and have the girls help me clean up.

I am still amazed when Dd just eats what we’re eating. I made lasagne with ground beef, zucchini, spinach, tomatoes & pesto, she devoured it .

Still waiting on a Carter's order so I decided to look it up. I was thinking I'd ordered around March 20th or so.

The last 10 days feel like a month.

Now I’m watching videos of professionals cleaning oriental rugs. It’s kind of addictive.

We need to have ours cleaned but I think it’s going to be about $500 so I’m trying to figure out if there’s a DIY way 😬

Not just baking, this morning he helped me make salt and pepper shrimp, jasmine rice, and a creamy ponzu.

Because he wanted to get dinner ready for himself and his babies since he goes to Pete’s tonight and informed me his dad only knows how to make pancakes.

Last night Poppy wore Dude’s boxers as a tube top, and X stripped naked then affixed a giant STOP sign sticker to his bottom. They proceeded to play a very entertaining game of living room basketball.

So, it looks like one possible explanation for CA’s lower rate of infection could be that it was circulating here last Fall.

I keep insisting that I believe this wholeheartedly and don’t care who thinks it’s ridiculous.

I left it in the car when I first got home.  then went back downstairs and put it in the closet in the bedroom downstairs while she was eating.  So it's done and she doesn't suspect a thing!

I do feel bad, it's such a weird year...we normally put fun stuff in her basket besides just candy but since I couldn't roam around Target like normal, I just grabbed her a new swimsuit (if we ever get to go to the beach), tank top and some fun candy.  

I was happy with Targets online ordering.  they had my order ready in 2 hours...I really expected it to take much longer.

Let me know which membership sign up for and if it's worth it.  Evie loves to help me in the kitchen.  I got her her own set of spoons, cups, mixing utensils, etc, for Christmas and she uses them all the time.  But fun new recipes would help us all!

I love Targets drive up order feature. It’s done usually under 2 hours even though right now they say 4 and I don’t have to get out of my car. Some of the regulars who do it at my normal target know me I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad

cagoldi MH has been swearing for weeks that he got it in Palm Springs at the beginning of February. He and his coworker he went with were both sick the week after. The next week, I lost my voice for 3 days then had the deepest cough I’ve ever had in my life for a few days and then I was fine. I make fun of him but I hope he’s right and we have already had our turn.

I've given up. My body is sore. I woke up with a sore throat and a headache. The girls are being contrary with every single thing I say. Neither of the medical records systems I use is working properly so I can't do my job. I'm going to say eff it and try to nap.
