I spent the last couple of hours clearing all of the toys out of the baby’s room and moving them down to the basement. The girls’ clothes are still in there because we haven’t bought the closet kit for their bedroom yet so the baby’s clothes are in a basket in the crib. We still have plenty of time to get that sorted out so I’m not worried about it. We also had some crazy weather a little bit ago. My phone went off saying there was a snow squall warning. All of a sudden it got super windy and started snowing hard. Lasted maybe 10 minutes and then the sun came out, melting the majority of the snow.

DH and I are sitting on the front porch eating pimento cheese and drinking wine. A friend of mine from MOPS/preschool just rode by with her H and 4 kids on bikes. Way to make me feel bad about myself, lol. I’m officially doing the least. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I wouldn’t even qualify this as a snow storm. It was super random. However, we have had blizzards or ice storms mid April for the last few years so that is definitely still a possibility. I believe we are supposed to get more snow Saturday/Sunday.

This is how I feel when I see pics on FB of people sitting at tables 'teaching' their kids.  I have to remind myself we are all doing things differently to get by during this time.  What works for one house, isn't going to work for another house.

I'm sure she thought the same, that she'd rather be sitting, drinking a glass of wine, than on a bike.

I was sweeping and minding my own business when Mh asks me for something he never gave to me and insists he did. So I wasted time trying to find the papers he did give me and prove him wrong. Now I’m annoyed and he killed my decent mood. Go away H and just let me be!!

Mother Nature has been moody today. We’ve had a few of these roll through today. First at 8am, last about 10 minutes, strong winds, and covered the ground with snow, then cleared up. I just drove out to my parents to drop off extra bday cake and we drove through 2 “snow storms”. Now the sun is out again. Weird day.

So she got her results today, and they were negative. She posted on Facebook to update everyone and she started getting flooded with phone calls by her friends that still work in hospitals and her boss. Each person told her that they think there is something going on with the tests, and to keep acting as if she has it until all her symptoms are gone and the waiting period Is over. So we will continue as is until she is completely better and the waiting period Has passed. Glad I didn't tell the boys..

Tim’s SIL is a nurse for one of the groups doing the drive-through testing in CO. She said there’s still a big problem with false negatives and some occasions where people have tested negative four times before finally getting a positive. So yeah, everyone should be acting as if they have it at this point.

I heard false negatives with some of the tests are as high as 30%. This whole thing is such a nightmare.

It’s a cloudy 74 degrees out and there is a decent breeze. I was sitting out in the driveway while the boys played. I just came inside because I was cold. I have leggings and a long sleeve tee on.

Mh was verbally accosted at Walgreens today. A woman behind him in line started yelling that he wasn't 6 feet from her. Hey bitch, you're BEHIND him, this YOU need to move back 6 feet. She proceeded to tell him he was going to kill his grandparents and parents, that he probably didn't graduate college, that she feels bad for his wife and that she was going to call the police on him for not being 6 feet away. Wtaf?
He said the cashier asked him if he wanted to talk to the manager, bit mh said no.
Why do people have to act like such psychos?

Just heard from my boss L. I’m going to be covering 8 people’s work. Which sounds worse then it is because they’ve been doing not a ton lately. But we will see what the week after next will bring.

Thank you. Unfortunately I still feel like crap. MH made me honey tea and I just took some meds so I'm hoping that helps. I'm frustrated because I was just sick 2 weeks ago (still think it was COVID--worst cough ever). I thought I haven't even been anywhere so how could I get something, then I realized I was at my other job most of last week (although I tried to minimize close contact with others as much as possible). So who knows. 

On the plus side even though my work computer is still being a POS I found a work around for my problem accessing the medical record system and am trying to catch up on some work now. 

Plus it's really nice out and the girls just finished playing water balloons. I haven't even stepped outside today and I think I'll try a short walk.

inthekitty Feel Better soon. Every tingle in my throat I have that uh oh feeling. I’ve gotten it a few times over the past few weeks at night and wake up fine the next day. Last night it happened again but felt more drainage. I woke up fine but I can tell the drainage is still there. I know it’s just allergies/typical but it’s still a mindfuck.
