Shiiiiiiittttttt. FX your job is safe since you’ve been there a long time. I'd like to hope that's the case, however I already know they're laying off my legal assistant. She's been there 17 years, is a single mom and has 2 special needs children. They give no fucks. That's awful.  |

It’s mind blowing that we already have 10 million people who filed for unemployment and next week there will be even more. I was just at my tax drop off appointment and when I asked her what home acquisition means she said foreclosure and she expects there to be a lot of them next year. I hope not, but this blows. Ugh. |

Yuck, not a great day for some of us. Hugs tgrimes, I hope you'll come out OK. Re: parks, they have kept park areas open here but playgrounds and other 'amenities' are closed. The beaches are open for exercising or fishing but no sunbathing or congregating--easier to do here b/c it's still chilly. |

Hi all. Late check-in here.
I did fun stuff like scour our shower today. Then I got stuck on the phone with a local friend and it was the most exhausting 45 min. of my life. I hate feeling like I have to constantly screen her calls but omg I cannot do another one like that any time soon.
This afternoon was beautiful so DH got some yard work done while the kids played and I supervised, ha. Currently we are having pizza and watching Cool Runnings -- the 90s flashback continues!

DH made a Costco run today. They had limits on stuff but had most things in stock. Our city has over 350 cases confirmed, it’s terrifying. We know 3 of those people so it’s really hitting close to home now. On the plus, I think my parents finally understand they need to be home. I need to have a few drinks to calm myself down.

We were go go go all day. I'm exhausted. Tomorrow will be more of the same. Now that its mostly staying warm I'm ready to get our yard and outdoor stuff done. A is not completely on board and its driving me nuts.

A is not completely on board and its driving me nuts. My coworker brought me some plants from her flowerbeds to give a try in my beds. As soon as I got home I had to find spots for them. It made me happy and I hope they catch and don’t die. That led to me putting out some mulch and digging up the crabgrass one by one in my front yard. Crabgrass extraction has become oddly therapeutic for me. Charge it to the corona. 🤷🏽♀️ |

tgrimes, I loved all things Haley Mills. Pollyanna is one of my favs too. The girls and I watched that a couple months ago and they loved it. I idolized Haley Mills as a kid. Yes, I was a nerd. My sister and I used to pretend we were Sharon and Susan.
