Vino is ok, everyone! I spoke to her a couple days ago. Oh. Did she say why she's ignoring us?

inthekitty Ugh. So frustrating. Are they planning to limit how many people are in the building at one time at least? Any way to do drive up testing?

That really sucks, inthekitty. I've been changing in the garage and immediately showering too.

inthekitty I’m so sorry. Anything you can do to protect yourself? Gloves, face mask?

We are having a family movie afternoon and watching Iron Will (remember that one?) I think on Friday we'll order pizza and watch Cool Runnings. Sorry, kids, it's a 90s timewarp!!

inthekitty Ugh. So frustrating. Are they planning to limit how many people are in the building at one time at least? Any way to do drive up testing? Thanks for the sympathy everyone. I'll be happy when this is over with SUN. We can't do drive-up because we're not COVID testing. We're doing an overall medical clearance in the event these people get called to duty. So they have a whole checklist they have to complete. Some of these folks already have open cases with us and we can probably already make a determination by their records, but apparently still have to come in. At least I found out they are supposed to be limiting by groups of 40 in the building at a time, so that's good. But these are folks that are largely otherwise carrying on like business-as-usual and around large groups of people on a regular basis.

Hey! Glad to hear that someone has talked to vino! For those of you still having to go in to work, bless you, for doing your part to help, and at the risk of your own health. You all are amazing. I ran into the office this morning and grabbed some things to make WFH a little more comfortable and help me be more productive. The only problem is my new office is in the playroom 😂. So this could be interesting. Also, I stole the white table from my kid. It used to hold her doll houses. Sorry kid.

Iron Will was a hit with the kids! Definitely recommend. Even C got into it and was cheering for him, lol. It's on Disney+ if anyone is interested.

So office manager was trying to say any wfh time for March would be taken out of vacation and sick time. Da fuk? Nope, not ok. So I emailed the partners and was like, uh, I'm not on vacation over here, in fact I've been busier the past 2 weeks than I have the past month, PLUS I'm having to teach my kid how to read and write and shit. No way. So, they worked it out and said no one will need to use any of their vacation or sick time during this period. Damn right!

Hi, hi! Happy anniversary chrisy01! It's sunny and beautiful, and we split Col's work into chunks and let the babysitter handle a bit of it. I'm still managing the bulk of it but he was much more willing to get down to business knowing he isn't stuck working for hours on end. Obviously we need to take it day by day, but this little win helps me feel less anxious. I'm just about done for the day and ready to go for a walk with the boys. It's really DH's only exercise and I'm worried about him. He SEEMS okay but given he still hasn't done anything about his anxiety, getting cut off from the gym isn't ideal. I've offered up whatever I can - use the treadmill, let's hang the heavy bag back up, etc. - but he hasn't taken me up on any of it. I get that it's not the same as a gym trip but that's not an option, so let's figure this out. Seeing as his anxiety over time always manifests itself in him blaming me for all his perceived problems, I'm highly annoyed that he won't do anything to even try to help himself.

It is gorgeous here today! 71, sunny with a light breeze. I have windows open in every room to air out the house. The girls are supposed to do their first at home virtual dance class this afternoon. I have to figure out how to get both of them set up in separate rooms with zoom meetings up, dressed in their dance clothes at the same time. Should be a hot mess. I just want to take a nap because we spent the last 5 hours outside in the sun. I really feel like skipping it and trying again next week but that’s probably not a good idea. They’re trying to still possibly do the spring recital so the girls need to practice their dances. It’s supposed to be in mid may, we will see how that pans out.

Lolololol at them still trying to do a May dance recital. They sound just like the baseball rec here sending emails saying- WE WILL STILL HAVE A SEASON!! I’m like whatever. That ain’t happening. Save my money for fall ball or next year. I don’t even need a refund, just let it go already.

I’m glad, now, that I never signed H up for soccer or softball. At this rate it’s not happening.

My Trump goon of a governor is finally issuing a statewide SIP starting Friday. He and FL governor seemed to battling for worst governor during a pandemic. Crazy that we have issued it before FL. 🤦🏽♀️ Our state medical officials put the pressure on and good for them because we have one of the highest hospitilization rates, but that isn’t surprising given that MS is at the top in terms of obesity.
ETA: I spoke too soon. Looks like the FL gov did so at about the same time. Yeah... they are definitely in bed together. 🙄

trtlcrzy we won't have the recital, but we still had to pay. We're also still paying for dance classes, which is dumb. I made Cadence do a zoom combo class today and she said she didn't want to. Too bad kid, I spent money on dance, you're dancing. They also asked us to pay the deposit for fall already.

Which is annoying because we didn’t have any dance classes for the last 3 weeks. I kind of want to just drop it and be done with it but idk.

Hi some things are going off kilter at work so I’ve been busy dealing with that while both kids are running C crazy.
Target for the win over here for most of Easter. I’ve been doing mostly drive up for awhile so it’s great. The Saturday and Sunday target drive up order people know me really well. They’ve start organizing things for me in the bags now too.
