katespade hope you had a good appointment today! I’m still here but my ultrasound looked great! Baby is measuring right on target and has a very strong heartbeat! I’m waiting to have my blood drawn for the NIPT. I’m really looking forward to the results!

polson, mine is May 4th. It's so far away! I almost caved and ordered Sneak Peak because I am SO impatient. Then I realized I would have to prick my finger, and that is NOT happening lol

I’m on day 3 of dealing with vertigo. I’m really glad I’m not far enough along to have to deal with morning sickness because this sucks.
I’m waiting for my mfm office to call me back to set up my appointment- my drs nurse said they want to see me in 2 weeks because of the blood thinners I will be on in the next day or two.

I’m feeling awful today and really glad that it’s Friday. Every day is the same but MH doesn’t work on the weekends so he’ll be doing 80% of the parenting and I might get to sleep in one morning. 🤞🏻

I had 1 day of no dizziness and feeling normal and now the nausea has started. I didn't miss this part. Hopefully it doesn't last until 15/16 weeks like last time.

polson, thanks - I was just hoping to have a couple more days of feeling normal before this hit. It's been hard to hide because my daughters ABA therapist is still coming 4 days a week and she's been working with my daughter in our home for 2+ years now. This week is week 6 for sip and we ran out of keep busy/not go crazy activities a couple weeks ago. One thing we did this past weekend was order pick up from one of our favorite places and then had picnic out of our tailgate/trunk area in their parking lot. My DD thought it was the best thing ever and is still talking about it. We were still distancing and keeping to ourselves but it got us out of the house and our normal.

Has anyone’s cravings started yet? I am dying for those orange sherbet tubes. Like willing to drive out of my way for them.

Mmmmmmm that sounds delish! I’m pretty much eating like a toddler these days. Some days I eat everything and other days I barely eat so 4 in one day is totally something I’d do.

I've been craving sweets (which I'm not usually big on). I'm adding red velvet cake ingredients to my grocery delivery; it's all I can think about.

Today I want chips and salsa. 🤤 But also being upright is making me nauseous so guess I can’t win.

I was able to actually eat lunch with out feeling nauseous- them it hit 15 minutes after and I’ve been laying down in bed trying to talk myself out of throwing up for the last hour.

the 4 year old woke everyone up at 5:30 this morning. i get up at 5 everyday so i can have my coffee and read my book in peace, and when i don’t get that time my patience is short. h has to work today, but it’s going to be nice so i’m trying to adjust my attitude. need to get some yard work and laundry done. i also need to lay off the sweets and eat reasonably. we’ll see how that goes. anybody have “plans” this weekend?

polson, sorry about the early household wake up. My DD has ASD and for a week total every month she will wake up earlier than normal (usually between 4-5:30) and those days are always super rough for everyone. Not looking forward to those days once we have another baby in the house. We don't have much planned for today - grocery pick up in a couple hours and H said he wants crab and shrimp so I guess we will be having a picnic in the parking lot of Red Lobster for dinner (I don't care as long as I don't have to cook/clean up). It should be really nice here today and for the next week at least so I'm looking forward to being outside as much as possible. I live on a mountain in a pretty rural area and it gets cold here in the winter so we always end up with a couple of mice in our basement every year. I was going through some of our baby/maternity stuff we have stored down there. Apparently one of my bins that had baby bottles, swaddles and burp cloths in it broke and the mice got into it. I had to throw away all the burp cloths and one of my fleece swaddles. I did find my pregnancy pillow - which is what I was looking for because I've been sleeping so horribly the last week.

random cravings i’ve had this week - cottage cheese (?!?) and oatmeal creme pies. i found a recipe for homemade ones, but i’ve put a hold on baking sweets for a few weeks as quarantine baking got a little out of control. hoping it will pass.

This pregnancy is going to be the death of me. Good grief. I’m so tired and still feeling cruddy.
DD had a good cry the other night about not getting a sister, then woke up and said “well maybe next time I will have a sister.”
NO. I am DONE.

I was randomly craving cottage cheese after someone mentioned buffets 🤷🏻♀️ And added it to my grocery cart for pick up. 😂 The frustrating part is that my cravings change so quickly that by the time I actually get the food I’m craving, I no longer neeeeeeeed it.

I feel so much better after my appointment this morning. My ob said that hopefully the dizziness goes away soon and it’s just a symptom/side effect of pregnancy. Yay? Yesterday I had a ton of energy and got lots done, today I’ve already had 1 nap and could do with another but that won’t happen unfortunately.
