Poor S trtlcrzy. I used to get UTIs all the time and they're so awful. I hope she feels better soon! I just turned on the scholastic free learning thing for Evie and she basically refused to pay attention to the book they were reading. She's going to be fun. We should start getting actual lessons every Friday.

It’s a great day here! 🙌 I put L down for his morning nap, he woke up after his usual 30 minutes, cried for a minute, rolled to his side and WENT BACK TO SLEEP! It’s been 1.5 hours now and I don’t know what to do with myself! I also noticed his second tooth broke through this morning so hopefully sleep keeps getting better.
And I’m officially at pre baby weight plus a couple pounds! One thing good about quarantine is that I haven’t missed a day of working out and surprisingly haven’t been snacking as much..... except right now.. I’m shoving tortilla chips in my face because I’m just waiting for L to wake up 😂
The kids are outside playing and Dh might take them to a county park this afternoon to explore. I’m impressed with how well they’ve been playing together these last few weeks and aren’t sick of each other yet.

Hi
MH had a cold since Friday and woke up this morning with a fever, chills, etc and hasn't moved. Looking back, I think maybe when B was so sick last week, maybe he had it and now MH does. I'm not sure. But I keep asking him and he says his chest is fine. He probably wouldn't get tested anyway, so he's just laying in bed in our room and I'm trying to work and homeschool alone. Today has not been a great homeschool day, but oh well.
We have gotten very little direction but got an email today saying starting next week there would be more interactive learning. We did one google meet with his class and it was pure chaos so I am not looking forward to that. I'd rather keep throwing him on the apps or giving him worksheets.

Lolz. I have no idea why but Maddie started calling Cass "Poochie." It's hysterical.
Cass asked me if she can change her name when she's older. She wants to change it to "Love you" because she loves everyone.

Hi.
I went in to work this morning to do the screening. Our hospital is now making everyone who enters the building wear a mask. At first I thought it was a little much this early on, but then one of the nurses I worked with said that she heard we had 16 cases in the hospital and 5 on a vent. 😳 So yeah, I get it now. A few of the patients thanked us for what we do on their way out and seemed very appreciative of the healthcare workers.
I ran to Target when I left and scored some laundry sanitizer and hand soap.
Now I’m home and MH and M just left for a drive. First time I’ve had the house to myself in the daytime for a while! I think I’ll just sit in the quiet. 🙂

5 kids is no joke guise. I'm exhausted lol. But because I dont want these kids reporting back that I'm mean, I've yelled at the boys alot less and went straight to punishment and actually enforcing it.

I checked H’s ear and I’m pretty positive the tube that fell out in January is behind his eardrum. I called the ENT and will take him in the morning.
FML.

A co-worker of MH’s had a heart attack 2 days ago at work. He was revived with CPR and an AED from 2 other officers. Then coded 2 more times in the ambulance. He’s actually doing ok now, they put some stents in. But his wife hasn’t been able to see him because of everything.

I’m sorry tgrimes, that sucks. Poor H. Enjoy lahdeedah! An empty house sounds like a little bit of heaven right now. Yikes lfig, glad he made it to the hospital in time. Hope he has a full recovery. ETA: I was reading about a woman who offered to do some grocery shopping for an elderly neighbor in light of all that’s going on. When she got there with the groceries the older lady wasn’t feeling well. After a few minutes she started vomiting...LSS, she was having a massive heart attack. If her neighbor hadn’t been there with the groceries, she would have died, but they got her to the hospital in time. I was glad to see a story of some ‘good’ from all this.

jewels I hope YH is alright. tgrimes glad the doctor will see him tomorrow. trtlcrzy sorry about the UTI. I get them all the time and it’s horrible. NJ has closed schools through April 17th. I’m sure it will extend but I’m glad they didn’t end the year yet. Our town has outdoor band practice for the kids Tuesday and Thursday’s at 2:30. DD met with 2 kids around the block and practice on opposite corners today. DH is out in search of propane for the grill. Tonight I have a virtual cocktail party with my friends.

L’s teacher just sent a note saying that her way of taking attendance is seeing who watches the daily prayer video all the way through. We haven’t been doing that. She said she will mark kids gone starting today if it’s not watched and we have until Monday to catch up. Dang it.

My second job has switched to no visitors this week. I have worked the screening there two days and one day there quite a bit of drama with patient families. Understandable, but hard. And while I get the mask thing with my main hospital, they are still allowing one visitor, unless they are in ICU- no visitor. I think they should drop visitors there, too.

Only 10 minutes but I’ve been skipping it because I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary and I’ve been focusing on the items I thought were.

Y’all why is it 89 degrees today? I am glad for the warmer weather, but damn near 90 the first real week of spring?? M just asked if he could put water in the blow up pool and I might let him. It will be back in the 70s next week.
