FYI, I mentioned that Scholastic lessons yesterday. Here's the link. We've only done the first one but it was wonderful. We did the spider one for grades 1-2. In the afternoon the girls were starting to get at each other's throats and this chilled them out. They were cracking up at the first video and really amazed at the cool spiders during the second video. They did the little quiz that went along with the reading. Then they went loose to create their own spider. Maddie actually sewed one and Cass used interesting materials including a wrapping bow. She named hers Atalantis (I have no idea where she always comes up with such interesting names ) and Maddie named hers Bob. In the evening they did a presentation for the family about their spider. It was really fun and cute plus they learned something. It incorporated reading, comprehension, science, art, and speech so it was all-inclusive.


And some of the GoNoodle videos on YouTube are hilarious to watch the kids dance. It's like Just Dance 2020 without the video game component. The girls love the Footloose and Trolls song ones.

Started today with a look for signs of spring walk around the block, then she came home and drew what she saw and labeled them. We had a quick addition lesson and are now playing "quietly". After lunch we'll do more outside time and then get on her laptop for some istation.
Our office is now closed until the order is lifted (April 13th until further notice)and apparently the head partner threw a giant tantrum about it yesterday because he didn't bother getting set up to work from home and he wanted someone in the office to answer his calls. 🙄
Oh and Cadence has a zoom meeting with her classmates Thursday morning, which I just think is cute.
