How's everyone doing? Our governor has closed all nonessential businesses until May 15th or unless things get better.
I had a good cry on Saturday morning. 😞

I have to go in today to be trained on covid19 case investigstions, which I will start tomorrow.
Z kept falling and running into things yesterday. He has a big bruise on his forhead. He's super cranky this morning.
Js birthday was yesterday. He had fun with all of his presents and enjoyed the ice cream we had with his cake. I feel bad we couldn't do more though.

Our Governor will likely not put SIP into place. Which is very disappointing.
We are home and doing okay. I’ve had a couple cries, but could probably use a really good one.

We are all home. DH and I have been WFH since March 12. L has been home from daycare since last week. His daycare is still open, but we’re keeping him home. Schools are closed until May 15. Non-essential businesses are closing here as well. It has been a struggle, but I think we are starting to settle into our new normal. I just wish I could devote more time to playing with L during the day. He’s had a ton of screen time over the past week. We try to get outside once or twice a day, but that can be tricky as well.

2x in the past week, H has woken up around 3:30. Last time, she just kept rolling around in her crib before finally going back to sleep. But this past Monday, she ended up crying so I went in. After 15 minutes of cuddling in the chair, I put her back in the crib and and she screamed. I rubbed her back and tried to cover her then left. She cried for less then a minute before laying down and eventually fell back asleep. What the heck?

I haven’t been able to discern any reason for it, though.

I keep forgetting to come over here ☹ It's a great time to work in a grocery store in terms of job stability, but also scary. I'm pretty sure at some point I will get the virus due to being at work.

Our schools have been closed for two weeks. We start online instruction tomorrow. Thankfully my daughter is only in kinder but I’m not sure it is going to go well. She is already behind and this isn’t going to help.
I don’t see that our schools are going to open up again this year. We don’t have SIP and our state is barely testing people so I doubt we have limited the spread. Anyway, time will tell but I’m not keeping my hopes up.
