Hi from “work” aka my dining room table. I’m currently working on cleaning up some emails and making hot chocolate cinnamon rolls for the family when they get up.
Work has slowed down but it sounds likes we still work from home unless everything stops.

I'm also working from my kitchen table. I brought so much shit home last night, the back of my Jeep was full. But so far, I haven't found anything I'm missing to work efficiently.
It's raining this morning, but should stop for a few hours around lunch, so I plan on getting out for a walk/jog around my neighborhood for my lunch. I'm too far from my gym now to even consider going. Although I feel like gyms are just kind of gross places, in general. No one ever cleans machines or weights after they use them and I know staff can't keep up with them. I always wipe down the treadmill after I'm done, but I rarely see anyone else.

I'm physically at work. Trying to hide in my office as much as I can. We were supposed to have A and L's birthday parties this weekend but cancelled. I think my in-laws are going to bring the bike they got L over though so she can use it which will be great!

I was able to find toilet paper yesterday, so that was a win. It's not for me though, it's for my mom. Hopefully, by the time I actually need some I'll be able to find it.
I'm at work today. Trying to close out as many files as possible so that the runners can be tasked with taking them offsite while I wfh.
Had a ctj with mh. I explained that while working from home is nice for him, it would be wise to continue with normal daily habits...like bathing. Plus, I don't want to come home and find the tv blaring and his podcast blaring. I told him when Cadence comes home there will be no daytime tv except on weekends. Will we sleep in? Sure, but we will eat at normal times, bathe as per usual, lets not go crazy. I want as much normalcy during this as possible for Cadence. I don't want her freaking out over being unable to go to school and see her friends and everything.

mwhip , all of our gyms are closed now which I'm glad about! All our larger gyms are closed. I go to a small gym. I received an email that they're limiting it to 10 people at a time and they emailed a sign up sheet to put your time reservation. Limited to once a day, 60 minutes total. |

Morning! Same old over here!
Rainy day here! We did Josie’s work for the day and are now hanging out with magnatiles.
Uno has become a staple here and I really look forward to playing!
Today would have been my dads 89th birthday! We usually buy sone kind of entenanns sweets (bc they always had one in the house) but we’re not heading out so I’ll bake something with the kids today, too.

guster Uno Flip is fun as well, Evie really enjoys it and I don't hate playing it with her! The deck is 2-sided, on side is regular Uno, the other is a little different. Both sides contain a 'flip the deck' card, so at anytime, someone can make you flip everything over.

Some good news...We’re officially under contract on a house! Made an offer yesterday afternoon and the sellers accepted. We will close 6/15. I’m exciiiiited.
And my ILs postponed their visit so this weekend I can do some major purging.

Homeschooling day 4. Things are going steady. The constant stream of news, texts, emails, calls about the virus is a bit overwhelming. I feel a little deflated about everything especially the endlessness of it all, but hey what can you do. As the Britt’s used to say, keep calm and carry on.

Morning. I didn’t sleep well last night. S woke us up at 5 to tell us she peed in the bed and it took me over an hour to fall back to sleep. The girls are currently playing some sort of game with a cup and quarters. Idk, as long as they’re playing nicely that’s all that matters. The kids kept themselves busy with puzzles later this morning and are now watching peg plus cat while I put away our Aldi order. I am so surprised that literally everything was in stock.
MH is upstairs working. He had a virtual conference day yesterday with the administration and has let go of some of the anxiety he was feeling about it. He does not do change well.

Cups are such an underrated toy,@peach! Everyone praises the paper towel roll but I would choose cups any day. Matthew also made a hot air balloon out of them. and put stuffed animals in them, covered with paper and tape and I had to punch it to get my present. Lol |

I ended up having to print Matthews packet at staples. This is copied from my Facebook. For anyone that needs to print a lot of school work!
Need to print school work? Staples will print school work FOR FREE! I went in because the file from the school's website was not printing, no matter what I did it would not print at home. When I saw the bill for printing 81 pages was $17.99 I was like "wow, I hope the next set of plans will print!" And the guy was like "wait a minute, let me check something" He asked his manager, who told him to make sure he got the name of the school and the district and wrote it on the receipt, and they voided the cost. Thank you Staples! The program is called 'done right done free'
